Do Not Use Dialaphone!

  • Update.

After getting no joy from dialaphone's so-called customer services, I rang MPRC. Under protest I paid £5.88 to have the phone returned to me. Still awaiting delivery.

MPRC say the phone was sent to Nokia and assessed 'Beyond Economical Repair -Physical'. They do not know what was wrong with it.

As I have said many times to the muppets at cs, the phone was not dropped, was not in contact with water and even the cover wasin good condition for the phones age.

Therefore, I DO NOT HAVE AN INSURANCE CLAIM. The phone is faulty within its 12 month warranty period.

    Dialaphone refuse to replace it.

O2 continue to steal £25 from my account for a service I cannot use. O2 refuse to help.

When the phone is returned I shall have it independantly tested. Depending on the result, I shall either make a claim through the small claims court or I shall speak to the insurers again. I will not lie to them.

In addition to the £5.88 and monthly payments that I need to claim, there are many 0870 phone calls and my time which I value at £15 per hour.

DO NOT USE DIALAPHONE but do ring them and ask for a quote before deciding to ring someone else.

    :)

  • I rang them again tonight and asked for a quote :)

Afetr wasting 10 minutes of their time I asked what hapopens if the phone develops a fault during the warranty period. The adviser told me that I should take it up with the network provider - O2 in this case.

They really haven't got a clue.
