hi ya andy, i love the drive but not the fuel consumption lol (and im not a boy racer). It seems to drink petrol, but then i think i was spoilt with my last grande punto diesel where a tank would last over a month lol.
Its a nice ride though.0 -
Skoda Fabia SE 1.2TSI & 7 speed DSG gearbox £10,900 after current VAT free discount
Much less jerky to drive than the Yaris or Jazz. Fabia is very smooth and easy to drive, it even features Hill Hold Control as standard so will not roll back when puling away on a hill0 -

i think the fabia might be a bit big for my mum. I can see the vat free discount but only when taking finance. this will be a cash sale.0 -
Sorry, looks they they might have changed the offer (start of a new quarter). Looks like it might only be on the Octavia now for cash sales?0

I have an i30 but test drove an i20.
Why not look for one a year old? You'll save buckets of cash and you can still have the remainder of the five year warranty.
My i30 1.4 comfort at 12 months old was £8000, that's about £5000 cheaper than brand new and it feels like a brand new car. Only has 4000 miles on the clock."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0 -

You'll not save buckets of cash at all, the i30 1.4 comfort with 0 miles can be had for £9000, they had lots of capacity and flooded the market early this year.
Second hand cars are not always cheaper, when talking of savings it should be against what they cost new for cash, not the RRP0 -
stay away from the yaris mmt
mine burnt it's own clutch out just out of warranty
(it's an automatic...so not my fault, i think)0
