Apply for credit and then re-order. You can only arrange a replacement from the last 2 (?) invoices think it is. Six of one and half a dozen of the other; must be some reason for it I guess but not really sure.

that's strange, I used to be able to see quite a few of my old invoices. But I emailed Avon last time I had to apply for a replacement on an invoice I couldn't see and that is what they told me to do.

oh... forgot to tell you all... listen to this for comical!

my DSM was taking anyone who made PC to a special all expenses paid meal in warrington supposedly in the camp we made PC as a special "prize" since the early achievers pC lunch has been cancelled and the dinners moved to sept instead of march!!

bad planning or what! Not so many perks of being in pc really!

that's rotten! I think they think everyone does avon full time and doesn't have another job... and I think the ASM's who have older children, ie over 18 forget about those of us who have young children still.

Yes that is a shame they didn't think about it being delivery day, etc.

The system defaults to your last three (or so) invoices when requesting a credit and there's a link underneath if you wish to see more invoices. This, however, is only for credits; not replacements.

yeah replacements are only 2 camps... i suppose its cos replacements are really only for wrong items ordered, damaged or missing items so really 42 days is long enough to sort them out.

Stops people "creatively" ordering replacements too if prices flucuate too much!

if its faulty and outside the 42 days then if you email them they may be able to sort a replacement manually for you.

You get a pretty little badge to wear too! :rotfl:

Joking apart, main advantage I find to being in PC is the cheaper deals in HT and having our own helpline, which knocks the spots off all the others (SL helpline included)! ;)

  • Hi all
Got my first delivery today and all looks ok apart from a blusher the wrong colout-I need to check whose fault and I slipped up on 2 of my orders. One woman ordered 3 quantit of one of the nail treatments and I only ordered one so I made out they were short on supply and will get the others on the next order-a c11 backorder. Another I didnt order 2 rollon deodorant or 2 cream bath(or whatever)for £4 deal-only ordered one of each so Im guessing I need to return these to Avon as Ive paid for single items and do a c11 backorder for the deal-is that correct?
Everything else fine-except the people who wanted to pay with a cheque and I dont know them(except next door)so I will have to go back Saturday when they have money! Just hoping they do have money and don't mess me about but Ive got the goods so I'm fine.
Please that I have a free gift from Avon-Anew product 50ml -I think £13 in C12-would be nice if someone ordered it!
Just ordered some cards and a stamp from Vistaprint-only had to pay postage.
When bearing in mind credits for returns can I deduct this in advance from what I pay Avon or would it be a problem if Ive not paid the whole amount?

    just submitted c12... finished at £843.49 :)

If the OOS from last camp come in thats another £36 , and im due to be recharged for £67.70 of stuff ive resold after applying for credit. So that takes it up to £947.19 :) Still short on my target though!

Well done, Johanne; haven't yet submitted my order - seems a 'bit pitiful' to be honest but I've been concentrating on building my team this campaign - can't have it both ways, eh?

Talking of which, I've been helping one new team member cover her initial Given Territory and it just reminded me how hard it is when you first start. 50 houses covered and only £16 worth of orders. It's no wonder some reps don't get past first base. :( Think as we build our businesses/sales then we should also give a thought to how hard it is for some to even achieve MOV let alone HOV (or higher).

Always a good idea to check the email/memo section of your website, which should alert you to any item no/product problems. Seem to recall reading somewhere about the blusher mix-up but might have been on the covering letter with my last invoice.

Yes, cheques not accepted by Avon; up to you if you want to accept them.

Sounds like you have the hang of back-ordering; if your customer is desperate for one of the items but the offer covers two, I'd let them have the one that you received, order two in the next order then send one back i.e. as though it was the one received in the earlier campaign.

Congrats on achieving HOV in your first campaign; the night cream is lovely but, am guessing, superceded stock. If you're particularly cheeky you could try substituting it the next time one of your customers orders something similar and 'suggest' it was Avon's doing? ;)

As for any credits for returns, yes, make sure you submit any returns for credit before your invoice is due for payment. You then just deduct the relevant amount off the Account Balance and pay the nett amount. Will take the website a short while to register the credit (and after registering it will probably show your account is 1p in credit! Happens sooooo often! Guess all those 1p's add up. :rotfl:)

    Thanks MC!
Just checked c12 brochure and the sensitive rollon is ony 99p in there so I can order on C12 instead of backorder. Also the sss creamy body wash is half price at £1.50 instead of the c11 price of 2 for £4. If I backorder them it shows them as no discount. Is that normal?
Unfortunately the grow potion has gone up to £5 in c12,c13 and c14 so I will lose out on that one. Customer will be kept happy though and she was pleased with th free shower gel I gave her. It will also look good as the showergel I gave is £2.50 in C12 brochure!
Ah I see what you mean about the backordering and returns-return it delivery after next(my c13) as opposed to returning on the C13. Now I guess I will need to return it asap as its lower price in c12.
