I have a sticker on my car window (courtesy of Vistaprint) inviting people to email me for a brochure, but have never had any response. I also have a blog, but have never had anything via that either
Regarding the Lotus Shield MM my only concern is that if I pay for all my MM ones despite not yet having sold them all to customers, what then happens if a customer buys one from me in C15 or C16 - am I then too late to return it if she doesn't like it?
Any thoughts?'Better to ask a silly question than to make a silly mistake' Elliebee's Mum

One of my customers is partially sighted and whilst she loves Avon products has problems reading the brochure and does not like using the internet, I was wondering if anyone knows if you can get Avon brochures for people with impaired sight.
Hi
I asked Avon and they don't do brochures in large print...think we should all request they do, or on special request print one and send it out as there might be others out there who would like it too. They suggested the e-brochure which you can zoom into.

And I want to know right now where I can get clinical eye lift for a quid!!!
With Creative Ordering you can actually get it free in C11 (along with a couple of other products) i.e. if various customers order certain Anew products, which cumulatively add up to £20..... Result!:TMake the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

I've read your blog Elliebee and found it very interesting. Maybe you need to promote it a bit more? Maybe Facebook/Twitter?
Must say I haven't had time for twitter or facebook promotions at moment.0 -

Could be wrong on this but....
Chances are that by C15 or C16 you will have sold at least a few - especially with all the free samples and advertising. If you bought 10 via the MM @ £30 and will be getting £50 worth of free products (anyone any ideas what that will be by the way?) then theoretically you should be well covered anyway... yes/no? Just get the idea I'm missing something as it appears to be a win/win situation and logic tells me that life is really not like that! Hmm.....Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Depends what the £50 worth of products turns out to be I suppose!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Yes I've done that this time! The only Anew order I got in C12 was £17, so have ordered the product from C11 instead for £20 which means I get eye lift for £3 and the other bits and bobs which I can either use or use for incentives.
Otherwise I have been RUTHLESS this time with my ordering for myself. Last time I made about £100 profit, but this time I realised i was only going to make about £20 as I'd ordered stuff for myself. So it has all gone! This is a Business, you know Clare!!0 -
I wonder, also, whether anyone still has the tips about how best to use the gyroscopic strength ball as I've had several ordered this time and would like to avoid getting them back!
Can anyone help on this?'Better to ask a silly question than to make a silly mistake' Elliebee's Mum

Hi Elliebee - I had a few of these ordered but all went back except for one and that customer has gone AWOL!
Found this on another avon hints website:
When you put the string in, keep rolling until almost all of the string is used. This helps to get the ball moving fast enough. It needs to achieve a certain speed to work.
Get a really good grip on the ball, and give the string a really good yank. Start rotating your wrist. You will feel a certain rhythm or pull coming from the ball inside, try and match it. With some practice you should get the feel for it. You might find it easiest to straighten your arm and have the ball pointing behind you, once you have the hang of it, you can move your arms about for whatever parts you want to work on.
The one tip I would give for keeping it going if you feel it start to go wrong, is rotate your wrist a little more, it seems to sort itself then.
