Hello!!

New Avon girl here! I am doing friends and family and local dance school sales.
My first campaigne is number 16. I am due to see my rep again to order before that needs doing.
She has gone away for a week and I have a few questions

Do you get commission from Hellow Tomorrow demo book?

Do the sales from this book count towards your final amount eg to get the 20% and 25%?

I think she said my first few orders I have a credit of £200, can anyone confirm this? Does this mean I can not go over this amount before the commission or after?

Had just about enough of Avon Connect. Got 8 notifications I cannot access. Avon have known about it for days. Think I'm gonna leave this particular area well alone until they get it sorted. What a mess.

Hi, i'm on my second lot of books now so quite new to this too... i know my credit is £250 at the moment... i think it varies from person to person. I doubt they would say no if your order was over £200 though

Sorry i cant help with your hello tomorrow questions but im sure someone else will. I THINK that you dont get commission as the discounted price = your commission and you should only order from that for yourself.I believe that the sales from it do count towards your final ammount though!

Yes anything you order from HT including brochures does count towards your order value, so even if your customer orders are below the MOV by the time you've order brochures and demo products you could be above MOV.

I was going to email my old customers to suggest they go on Avon Connects to find a new rep. However, site is down again this morning, so I think I'll wait a bit!

Anyone else think Avon have bitten off more than they can chew

Thanks for the warning! I'd put a few of these on my order (submitting today) but I'll take them off now. Looks like it's eBay from now on.

Do you think it's the suffocation risk? Freezer bags are allowed to have no holes in otherwise they'd be a bit pointless (like holey Avon ones :cool: ). I often leave open bags in a pile on the floor waiting to be wiped down and my cat shows no interest whatsoever.

Had my second Avon party on Saturday, but first official one asi only knew the host! There were 6 people there and I took £100 in orders, just over £30 of sales from my "bargain box" and £11 on the raffle, so over all I was really pleased!
Started at 6.45 and finished at about 9. I have another 2 parties in October and one on November! Anyone doing parties? Then I would advise getting a selection of shower gels to sell on the night! I have sold loads at both parties.

Well, Avon Connects .......... I'm losing the will to live!! Can never get on the silly thing! Sometimes cannot even log in & other times get logged in then get error messages so I now have 16 notifications that I cannot access!

Brought 8 Herve Leger in the money makes & only sold two - one is mine & the other to my mum! Think they will be going back!! Campaign15 is very slow for me, but I think thats due to my customers hanging out forthe Xmas brochures!

Hiya just a quick qu a reall good cutomer of mine has just asked if i can get hold of some the dry oil sun spray (16998 in C12) I am now on my C15 and cant find it any where in 14 or 15:( (do they stop doing it in the autum/ winter?)

Got a question for users of Avon foundations...

I'm interested in the smooth minerals foundation and from looking at the catalogue I'm going to go for ivory since I'm very pale. I went on the website and found lots of people saying it makes them orange.

When I hover over the shades on the website, the "shell" shade looks the palest, but it's described as medium in the brochure.

I'm going to get this as part of the 2 for £10 offer so I don't want to be faffing about with returns if I can help it.

It was discontinued in 2009.

However, Avon now have
both are sometimes on promo and a lot cheaper



I may have an unused one one at home ? I can check later
