    That sounds brill!
    Hope it goes well!
I'm desperate to start doing Avon parties, I've got all these ideas and want to get the tried out, as well as to get a bigger customer base.
are you trained in doing therapies?
Have you hired somewhere for it?

I do a party for one group of ladies as well. They meet up once a month round someone's house and I got with brochures and products and get orders off everyone who goes. Its an easy couple of hours for me and the first time I did it I got ten new customers that I wouldn't normally have got. I don't do games or anything. The ladies just have a look through the latest brochure, try out any new products and generally have a gossip.

I am not trained in therapies but a lady I know is so she is coming along to make up the stalls. My friend who I am organising the afternoon with owns a shop, so we are holding at her shop so no hire costs. Hopefully, if this one goes well, we are going to do more especially in the run up to Christmas.

Just do a party for your friends in your own house to practise and you will get more confident. I was so worried about the first one I did as I only knew 1 lady going, but it went fine in the end!:j

  • yeah I'm trying to advertise as much as possible with the run up to Christmas, so I'm hoping with C16 being more christmas orientated I might be able to crack on.
I've heard alot saying to have it for friends etc. but I have more confidence with doing it with people I don't know and I'd get roped into chatting.

  • Hi all,
a customer has asked me to get 2 colour samples of the new Pro Colour & lip gloss duo.
I can't locate in the back of the reps brochure (forgot the name, tomorrow something).
Any suggestions or should I just order the lippys and send back if she doesn't like them?
    Thank you in advance

The people with the holey bags - what code are you using?

The code in HT is 76968 which are non sealable but I've got 76935 on my order which are resealable bags with NO HOLES :rotfl:

They don't do samples for these - only for normal lipsticks. Just explain to your customer that they can order both, pay for them both on delivery - but then you can give them a refund for either/both if they aren't completely satisfied.

Semi-successful second collection attempt today. Out of 11 houses that got reminders, 2 didn't leave them out and 9 left them out with "not interested" ticks. At least I got books back so I should get all or nearly all of my territory canvassed by the end of this camp.
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

I used code 76935 aswell and have just checked the invoice and it says the same on there. Have emailed my ASM about it so see if she knows anything more. Will let you know.

did you ask for some new streets?
I'm wondering if i should because i've got alot of not interested people
Yes, I started with a few roads and have increased twice now to try to get more customers. Slowly building it up.

I used the spend £10 and recieve a free gift and 4 people qualify so far which Im happy about.
  • I am really excited to say that I became a rep on Friday and have done my first drop already - so far have orders of £32.24 from F&F so hoping to at least make MOV this campaign.

Had a quick question though, I have had the idea of going into the local nursing homes and asking whether they would be happy for me to come in and demonstrate the products to their ladies. what do you guys think? I already have one place definitiely lined up (hooray for family!) but thought I might just chance my arm with some others. Has anyone done this before and if so, what kind of reaction did you get?
