Also. our first delivery was today, but they tried to deliver at 7:20am this morning. Needless to say, my husband had gone to work already and no one else was up. Do they always deliver this early?! It seems a bit too early to be honest!

I have heard of couriers delivering from 6am.....

I think it depends on the courier, their delivery route, how many deliveries they have.

Mine delivers about 9.30am but I would like it if I could have a delivery at 6.30am, before I went to work. I spoke to my courier once about his deliveries and he was really excited, he had finished his round, mine was the last delivery, and he said as he had finished so early, he could go back to the depot for more boxes.

He said he got £2 per box he delivered, and it wasn't just Avon deliveries. So that day he earnt extra money! :T

Yes my friend and I are having a pamper afternoon this Saturday. I have ordered loads of bits to demonstrate and loads of cheapy bits for people to buy on the day. It is only a small event with me, my friend doing homemade greetings cards, home made jewellery, Indian head massage and holistic therapies and hopefully a hairdresser. Also doing refreshments and a raffle. Am hoping to pick up some new customers really.

This sounds great :) wish you were in UK and close to me. I would be there....

Good luck and hope it goes really well for both of you!

did you ask for some new streets?
I'm wondering if i should because i've got alot of not interested people

yes, if you are struggling for customers on your roads, ask your ASM for more territory.

    It was discontinued in 2009.

However, Avon now have this and this.

both are sometimes on promo and a lot cheaper.

Thats too bad. I tried that night cream you linked, but it was nowhere near as good. Wonder why they discontinued it? :(
  • Hi Kitten Claws. I have been a rep for 4 campaigns now and have been lucky with my territory. I have about 40 regular customers now. Am canvassing some new territory this time to hopefully get a few more ;) Anyway, in comparison to some on here my sales figures are miniscule. A good way to start for you would be to sell to friends and family and maybe your works colleagues, this wouldn't take much time as you could just leave the book somewhere visible at work and let your colleagues do their own legwork ;) My hubby takes a book into work and I have had quite a few orders from them so far :) Could be a good insight into how it works for you without taking up too much of your time. HTH.

Hi Sylvergrunge I cpoke to an area manager today and we discussed the possibility of my becoming a sales leader. That way I can utilise my magazine which has a 15,000 distribution. I'm not entirely sure what is involved yet as we are going to meet to discuss further, next Monday. She did mention I would have to 'rep' as well - but I would only sell to friends and family for the time being and of course I use the products myself.

Any additional info as to being a Sales Leader would be helpful though.
  • grr...really annoyed with myself. I was in a rush for camp14 as went off on hol before the submit date and so tried to get it all done in a week. Well, I somehow completely missed 2 orders!!! The last 2 I picked up on the day before I went away. I am so confused as I swear I remember putting them in late that evening but they are not on the invoice or in the box so somehow they have been missed. Anyway, I have just put in an additional order through the Avon website direct rather than using my rep account as it is free delivery over £20 (code on site) and I also used quidco for 10% cashback so can actually get it cheaper on that site than placing an additional rep order and I wouldn't hit MOV with it. Just got to explain to the customers about my over sight now :(
    Everyone loves a bargain

I found the one that has been suggested, they revamped it too.

Think that is what happened, they discontinued it and revamped the brand.

Had 2 more voicemails from customer today who wanted items from C13, didn't even listen to them. Called her and said I wouldn't listen to her voicemails as she calls me again and again until I answer and it costs me to keep listening to them. I will just call her directly.

She has now decided she really really, really wants the mug and I told her she still has to pay the £2.50 for p&p as I make nothing from this.

Yesterday when I was talking to her, she said "my husband wants to know why I owe you £8?" I said you don't owe me any money, I never said £8. I said you would have to pay £2.50 for the additional items you want.
