Hi everyone, I've just started selling Avon and really enjoying it so far!
I've got a question though, I was signed up as a rep on Tuesday but I'm still not able to register myself on the Avon web site. Does anyone know how long it takes before they allow you to register?

Morning

I picked up some brochures yesterday and there was an order for £48 from a new customer :j, she has put at the bottom of the order form that she would like a nail varnish chart, I was wondering if anyone knows if Avon do these as with her placing such a large order I really dont want to say no, any help would be hugely appreciated.

Also, my mum who lives in Kent received a 14 campaign book from her Avon rep which had a sales brochure with it, she phoned me (she orders from me every other campaign) and asked about a beauty product in it, I am in Norfolk and I did not receive the brochure but received a sales brochure for 15 which just has jewellery in it, I was wondering if anyone knows if Avon split the sales brochures depending on where you live?

I recieved a sales brochre for 14 and 15 and I'm in North Yorkshire. Possible that selected places got it but strange too,Surely everyone having the opp to look through the disconuted lines is going to increase sales??
I had a customer who filled their order form and also added an A4 piece of paper!!! So I found it to be a good seller....although it looked liek a bigger order than it was, as many of the products were a quid here and there but hey ho, a sale is a sale is it not?

Hi Nic,
I've not long started with avon again too (2nd time).
This time my ASM set me up on the system as soon as she got home from the signing up, however my previous ASM didn't do it at all and it came to the time to order adn I just rang Avon and they managed to sort it out but she hadn't given me an account number.
Sop i'd say get out there and get some sales and if it comes to maybe the day before your order is in ring either your ASm or Avon directly becasue if you have an order it is likely they will help to sort it for you asap!

I tend to work my campaigns together, so that I don't have the odd crazy week.
for example:
i take out campaign 14 and keep a record in my calling book of who orders and who doesn't, then when i recieve my camp 15 books i start the cycle again around the house that didnt order.
I find that doing this, there is still a week or two between customers recieving a book and then for the people who have ordered i give them a book with their order and give them an extra day or too to look through the book as well as enjoy the product.

It fits for me because then I'm walking up and down the streets for a campaign so might as well give an extra chance for the following campaign as i only buy 20 books.

Hope this amde sence, i knwo it does in my head lol!!:D

saw all this confusion with an additional order. had a similar one this week, I've put my order in early due to being away and my customers have all got their books back so I put in the order, 7:45AM on Saturday, one of my customers ring, " My mum had a look at the book when she was here and forgot to write down what she wanted so i'll leave the order out for you..."
at that time in the morning I was not the usual smily lady with the books but thought I'kll pick it up and decide who will pay P&P depending on the order.
I rand my SL and she said because it's in early ring Avon and see if they will add it instead of additional and they did so, this could be an option for many people if they end up putting in an order a day earlier

I finally heard back from my asm with some new streets. Im going to go start them now and pick up my books from my regulars, fingers crossed for a good campaign and new customers.
