  • How does this work? Do you just put a note on saying that it's out of date? Contact me if you want a updated one?

Draft out a little note with your contact details - mine goes something along the lines of:

    Calling all old/new Avon customers!

Avon has celebrated its 50th year in the UK.

Here’s a slightly out of date brochure to give you an idea of Avon products/prices......

If you’d like to see a current catalogue

    (with no obligation whatsoever)

    please contact me.

All Avon products come with a full money back guarantee and are delivered to your door for the price in the brochure – no delivery charges ever!

(If this is of no interest, please accept my apologies for bothering you and kindly recycle/dispose of the book.)

    Thanks for looking!

  • Oops, don't know what happens to the spacing when you paste and copy...... :o Original is single spaced but when I tried to do that in the post, the whole format went to pot!

    Anyway, you get the idea....

I think if you want smileys :):) it is better to click ''post reply'' because then you just click which you want at the side and they appear in the text, easy peasy :)

To quote somebody you just go to their post and at the bottom there is a ''quote'' button. It will bring up a text box with their quote in and then space for you to reply.

    Hope that made sense?

This is just a tester, however if it works yippeee:j:j:j:rotfl::T:beer: cheers ding dong avon calling

As for your signature strip, go to Profile at the top of your screen and follow the instructions. Also a good tip, if you haven't already done, is to subscribe to the thread - if you Post Reply or press Quote then you get the option when drafting a reply (it's underneath the text box)- 'Notification Type'. A great way of keeping in touch with the thread.:T

Hope that helps rather than confuses you further.:rotfl:

PS: See DDAC beat me to it - why can't I be so succinct? LOL[/QUOTE]
Very confused at this time of the evening:o will sort it out for tomorrow:j Thanks for the quick reply

Thanks for that idea for the expired books, might well send it to my reps if that's ok? It's a great way for them to get some use out of their old books!

Before I was a sl I just recycled mine with no problems...boxes either go into our brown bin as we can put cardboard in their, or in my composter lol, but probably not many people are into making their own compost so recycling is probably the best bet lol.
Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A

goto the green bar at the top of the forum that starts Main Site.

Click on Quick Links, there is a drop down arrow next to it.
    Choose Edit Signature
Type in whatever you want, for smileys, choose from the right hand side, then go to to the bottom of the box and click on save signature.

To subscribe to the thread - get email notifications of someone posting something, go to the green bar again, but this time choose the one underneath, click on Thread Tools, and choose subscribe to this thread. You can choose how you want your notifications.

Sylver - As an ex Aldi worker I would say not to bother asking Aldi if they want the boxes. Boxes are not allowed to be left lying around and have to go straight into the compacter/baler. HTH x

  • Yeah, they are on the invoice....I've looked on the back and it just says the brand e.g. ''ANEW youth-awakening lipstick sample''

I've tried looking closely at the colours but they're all fading into one haha. Seems very daft as how will the customer then go on to order from the samples?.....

    Thanks anyway :)

The samples I have the colours are written on the end of the lipstick-the black part.
