Thanks, A; knew you'd know! :T Logically I couldn't see how Avon could object but then again sometimes what's logical to me doesn't seem to be to others :rotfl:

Taking a short break after this campaign and will need to build up my customer base when I get back (seeing as how I've given a large percentage of my customers away to my new team members) so think that new modus operandi may just help get things going - especially in the run up to Christmas.

No its not breaking any rules MC - you're offering your customers an "exclusive deal" ;)

I do it quite often - its only the same really as giving them a free gift when they spend so much - I offered the fergie set at a discount even though I hadn't done the moneymaker, and offered lotus shield at a discount (did the MM that time though). When they had the sets in HT for solutions products really cheap - I offered my customers 10% of the brochure price in the hope then I could order the sets from HT and get some products for "free" if I got enough orders. Although I sell solutions products usually, I only sold 2 that campaign pmsl so didn't end up ordering the sets afterall lol

  • Hey all,

Just wondering what the general opinion is on the New Herve Leger Perfume. I thought it smelt nice in HT so bought one, but now I have it and have tried it properly I am not impressed. Think I might send it back!!! Love the purse spray bottle design though, do Avon do them for other perfumes at all? Also, how do you pronounce Herve Leger? is it with a silent 'H' and "Leg-er" or "Ledger-er"? (don't want to pronounce it wrong to customers :D)

I haven't a clue what it smells like as never order expensive perfume from avon - like my customers lol as they never spend more than £6 on perfume:p

As for pronouncing it - I haven't the fainted idea :rotfl: I'll just be pronouncing it the common way, as I imagine my customers will be doing lol

hi, got given 2 more roads today. didn't even get to the second road before i had people saying oh jill does this estate and has done for years even though i was told a girl quit after christmas. grrr

so terratory or no terratory im doing my own estate. i know someone does at least some of it but theres room for me otherwise im running out of ideas as i seem to be going over other peoples terratory anyway.

fetching about 70 on sunday. i have put am on the books but it will be more like dinner time but i figured they are more likely to be on teh doorstep waiting for us. on the plus side i saw my friend in asda and gave her 12 and 13 and she told me the guy round hers let her down so she will probably order!

    Hi
    Need some help please.
I'm kinda confused!!!! I'm on c14 at the moment and my customers have ordered clinical eye lift 09506 £12, however in HTc16 there is an offer of a perfect eyes gift set for £7(including the above, mascara which are both in a gift box). I will be over the comission for 25%, which do I order? Not really done much creative ordering!!! Is this the way to do it? Scared that they may not be in stock ect.
Theres quite a few gift sets in HT16 I have another customer who has ordered one brush for £2.15. There is a demo gift box which includes 3 brushes and a bag for £2.45 could I buy this and split it?

    Look forward to the replies

Am with you, SG; was really looking forward to this as it's an EdP so I thought it would last longer and it seemed to smell really nice in the HT. Sooooo disappointed.

First time I've seen this purse spray, which looks a great idea (would also be great if Avon were to supply refills but not holding my breath on that one).

From HT, 'Herve Leger' has acute accents so am assuming it must be french in which case, yes, the H will be silent and it'll be pronounced something along the lines of Ervey Leyj'r (not forgetting the gutteral r's ;)) - emphasis goes on the emboldened letters and Leyj'r is something akin to our pronunciation the first part of leisure. Having said that, am sure no-one else will know anyway - and, of course, I could be totally wrong!:rotfl:As usual, go with whatever feels right (and you can remember!)

    Hi LZ,

Re. the Clinical Eye Lift - personally I'd order the Anew Clinical Set out of HT16 Clearance for £5, which includes the Eye Lift, Dry Ends Serum and Anew Lip Plumping Conditioner - but, of course, totally up to you. To safeguard yourself re. stock, order the full price Clinical Eye Lift too and then just send it back as 'surplus stock, could not sell' (whatever that code is).

Which brush is it for £2.15? Be careful on that one because the brush sets are smaller brushes and in my opinion not as good as the individual ones. On the other hand, of course, if you want to give excellent customer service, again you could order both and give your customer the choice.... Just a thought.
