Clare, are you trying to put the perfume, the body lotion, the shower gel and the purse spray into the box? If so, only the shower gel, body lotion and purse spray go into the box, the perfume stays on the side.

Sorry don't think I'm being very clear! The purse spray comes in a box on its own (which then goes into the gift box).

The purse spray box contains a small, narrow bottle of perfume, and a silver case - as the spray doesn't have a lid I am assuming that you are supposed to put it into the case. However, when I try, it only goes about a quarter of the way in??

ah right, see what you mean. It does go in, take it out and put it in a few times, and then give it a good push but try not to spray yourself like I did! (oops reads really naughty! It does go in.

what does anyone think to my raffle idea?

I just got my delivery this morning and in it were 2 lipstick samples I ordered for a lady...but they're all mixed up with some samples I've been sent for doing the smartscheme thing. I'm probably being really stupid but how to I find out which one is which? I can't see it written on them and the codes don't match the sample codes OR the codes in the brochure.....
So confused!!:cool:

hmm, I think from memory, that the lipstick name is written in tiny writing on the silver foil on the back of the sample, have a look there.
Oh and have you checked your invoice to make sure they have been sent to you? Are they actually on there.

I think it's a great idea. But I wouldn't make your hamper or basket too big, if you are giving the raffle tickets away on a £5 spend only. And you need to advertise to your customers that you are doing this, so they spend more with you.

I think quite a few threads back, someone did this around xmas time, and also someone made up hampers to sell to customers, they did really well.

Yeah, they are on the invoice....I've looked on the back and it just says the brand e.g. ''ANEW youth-awakening lipstick sample''

I've tried looking closely at the colours but they're all fading into one haha. Seems very daft as how will the customer then go on to order from the samples?.....

Ahh! After staring at these samples for...honestly about half an hour, analysing the codes on them, comparing them to the brochures/invoice/HT, looking at the colours etc etc...I tipped one up at it's written on the bottom on the actual lipstick.
Ah I feel so stupid!!! :o
I won't forget next time!!
