They are a mix of ones that I've just tweeked a bit and ones I've totally changed. It's nothing earth-shattering, just makes it looks more professional than hand written cards.

Basically:
cream - called to collect your book
blue - will be delivering your order on/will be delivering your order but there has been a change
yellow - called to deliver your order
pink - thank you for your order/thank you, you had missed some offers so I amended your order/name cards to staple to the bags, with the cost of their order too
green - old catalogues (prospecting)

and then I put a card on the front of the brochure with 2 points, one is an offer from me, one is an offer in the book, and space for the day I will come to collect.

hi, my partners mum and i have just start avon this week. We have sent out 100 books today and intend on picking them up sunday pm (we won do it so soon when we are ordering our own and know who wants what) we intend on sending as many as we can out again within the next week or so. we intend on doing about 200+ houses on our first go and see where we go from there. Not got an account number yet but hopfully she will sort that. I have found though that someone else seems to be dropping books in our area as we found one outside. hmm. I have done our road though because i know its not being done and they know us well. She also said it was ok even though it wasn't on our run.

Whoever signed you up, will have to send off your paperwork, to get your account numbers registered. You should receive an email from Avon with the account numbers.

Did your upliner - ASM/SL give you an assigned territory? If so, the books you are seeing maybe from another Rep who has friends/family on that road. Have a look at the name and number and give it to your upliner. They can check, if it is someone doing friends/family, that's fine, just mark that house off your list, no point delivering a book to them. It could be she has assigned territory to you that is already allocated to someone else.

yes thats what was worrying me. luckily we know a lot of people in both areas so know most dont already have a book this part was just a little further than we know. will check though. we do have 78pounds in orders so far i have just checked and that is only 2 people.

in all honesty i think we are going to need more books as we have 260 potential customers left and only 100 books in total which i need to get back by the 22nd

I have 275 potential customers on my territory and I manage with 40 books I give them to people for 2 days, collect them in, then go out again same day and give them to the next lot of people. I wouldn't recommend ordering 100 books, nevermind more than that, as after your first two campaigns you have to buy them yourself, and that will eat up your commission!:eek:

we have given our pretty much every book and kept a couple for ourselves just in case we are going to get them back saturday or as many as we can obviously. that bit may be more difficult to keep track of. then we will go out again either that day or monday and collect on the 18th with the last batch being collected on the 22nd to get in for ordering. so 260 need to be done with 100 books on 2 rounds with probably some not coming back. i dont see as its doable to do all of them. there was roughly 360 in total. It will probably be easier once we know who really wants a book and who doesn't.

I always order my catalogues way in advance - as do some others. I've just ordered catalogue 16 and have ordered more than I usually need because it's the beginning of the Xmas season.

Around Xmas I always need more catalogues as there are people who want Avon at Xmas only. So, time to think ahead & get in plenty of bags, order form and catalogues.

Hi all, just done loads of catching up on posts!!!
I done ok from C13 in the end, over £350 in ordrs, which was delivered weds & I managed to get all bar two to customers by thurs eve. Been preparing for my Avon party which is on Saturday & my future sis-in-law has booked a party for 11/09 so looking forward to that.
Done some door knocking over C13 & managed to speak to people to see who wanted to continue seeing the books & managed to strike off a few who didn't.
Dropped my first lot of books for C14 on thurs & pick up tomorrow. Back out Sunday for wednesday pick up. Going away thurs & fri back sat afternoon! Busy week! Plus doing lots with my two little ones in the hols, how do we do it all a ladies??!!
