Thanks for the link to the Chinese brochure Lolly. I live right opposite a Chinese Community Centre and was tempted to email them a link. However, I chickened out at the last moment as I wasn't sure that all the stuff was available here (and also, didn't know what it actually said ;)) For all I know it might be saying you can only order direct

If you get any reports back, please let us know

Arrgh, had a customer contact me wanting to be an f&f rep, rang, told her about it answered her questions...stressed that if she didn't order she wouldn't owe anything, and that I could put any orders through on my account and give her something for it, so win win either way for her....

however shes text me this morning saying shes changed her mind.

Gaaahhh! least shes let me know but still annoying!

I know Lozza, I saw the lady I went to see on Thursday about signing up as a rep yesterday in our shopping area, and I saw her before she saw me. She turned around and saw me and then made every effort to avoid us, so I take it she doesn't want to sign up either....

Hi Elliebee, you can get some of the site translated into English, and I have just had a look at the brochure, because it is available in China. Most of the products are the same, but there are a few very different, only available in China products. The packaging for some of the items is different although the product picture is the same as ours, and they use models with beautiful glossy hair to promote the hair products.

What you could do is give out our English brochure, and a link to the website explaining not all the products on the website brochure are available in England, however for those who do not speak English, it gives them a description of the product and how to use it, etc in Chinese, which might be useful for promoting the Avon book you have.

    Does that make sense?

why not see if she wants to just put some big orders on your account and u give her commision/freebies, maybe she'll decide to get her own account once she realises how much your earning from her.

it is very short sighted, and if it is an Avon policy, they should change it. I know for a fact that there are 2 reps on the road next to mine, and neither canvass the road, they only sell to f&f, or customers they obtained years ago, as I know someone who lives on that road, has never seen an avon book. And my ASM says the road is assigned to a rep.

    All those potential customers....

No ideas if it IS an Avon policy or just my ASMs..... As you say, shame that potential customers never get to see a book because their allotted rep. has enough sales without bothering to see if they'd like a book.

If you know this is happening near you, aureol, and you'd like to help those customers then (and this was checked with my ASM on Friday and she had no problems with it) just get a clipboard (or something similarly 'official looking'), mark down all the addresses and knock on every single door advising them that you are DOING A SHORT SURVEY for Avon to see if they can remember the last time an Avon rep turned up at their door and offered them a book. (Up to you if you want to mention that you've been trying to get the street released to you but Avon are adamant someone else is already covering it.)

Certainly, if you know someone there anyway you could add her to your F&F.
Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon ;))
