Went to see a customer today, gave her her delivery and she asked me where the short pjs were and the love heart underwear. I said we never ordered any. She said yes I told you last time you were here. I got her to get out her invoices and realised she is missing a lip balm but we never ordered these items. She kept telling me she had asked for them, but I am sure at the time we were saying she couldn't afford to spend the money, so I wouldn't order them.
Her husband always looks peeved off when I go there, because she spends a lot of money on Avon and I keep telling her not to buy so much, but she says it is my money, I will buy what I want. What can I do? If her husband wants her to curb her spending he needs to talk to her in private.0 -
Thanks for the feedback.
Presumably the split end stuff only works while the product is on the hair and doesn't mend the split ends permanently?
I got it from HT and absolutely love it! My hair is so much softer, and certainly seems a lot stronger to....with curling it a lot, its pretty knackered, but has been much better since using this. Don't use it after every wash, and still seems to be an improvement, so I think it does actually help to mend your hair rather than just mask the imperfections!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Well did all bar 2 deliveries today, and collected some of my orders too :j: I gave my books out on Sunday with their order forms saying when I was delivering and how much their order was, and would collect their books tomorrow. However, I got there and all bar 1 had orders (if they were ordering) ready, or gave me my book back. How great was that! Less running around tomorrow collecting books!
However I was talking to a new customer and my naughty DS was running around their car, at first he was just wiping the rain off, which was fine, then I heard a bang, and he had pulled back the back windscreen wiper and let it go!:eek::eek::eek: visions of replacing the back windscreen came to mind. He had broken the plastic covering the handle on the back of the wiper but I was mortified! I offered to pay for a replacement but the lovely customer said no. I made DS apologise and he knew he was wrong as he asked for a cuddle and refused to look the customer in the eye! I am going to get such a bad rep!0 -

I agree with you all, the Lotus shield is excellent.
My daughter is trying the split end mender 35832 for me, she said she was quite impressed as she has loads of split ends and this worked about 90% and made her hair feel lovely, couldnt believe it she is never impressed usually
Am also giving the split end mender a good test run..... So far my thinking is that it works :T I have long hair and it just about gets to the length I like when I 'have' to have it trimmed again i.e. I can't get a comb through it without major probs. Between the kiddies detangler and the split end mender, am deffo making progress. Suppose the 'proof of the pudding' will be when I finally go back to a hairdresser......Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Hi all, just signed up as rep yesterday and put out my first lot of books which I am picking up tomorrow evening. Trying not to be too excited as i know i am going to be really disappointed if no orders.
Some really great advice on here which I'm going to make good use of.
Welcome to the thread (& Avon) and good luck but if you only signed up yesterday you may find it's a little early to be picking up your books tomorrow...... Only my personal feeling, of course. :cool:Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

See Aureol has already replied to the rest of your post but it's actually 48p for 5 books after you've ordered 3 packs.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

MC, what happened to the lady who's order you leave in the cupboard by her front door? Did she find it? Did someone take it, finding out where it was left?0
