Oh no Johanne what a nightmare!!
One of my customers shampoo bottles had leaked a bit and although the lid was shut everything in one box was slimy and sticky so had to wipe all the items to get it off. So I really feel for you if everything is damaged.
I've finally got the 2 pedometers missed from last months order! I've also got a pair of sequinned flip flops that my customer no longer wants because she's waited 2 months and has been out and brought some others and another nail varnish missing. Avon did however drop in a nail varnish that wasn't on my order but has appeared in my box - whoops! That will be a lovely free gift for someone.
Chin up Johanne, I'd have a glass of wine or make that a bottle if I were you. No wonder you're fed up with Avon!!0 -

This sometimes happens, that you find other Rep's/Sales Leaders books outside your territory. What happens is the ASM sometimes doesn't update what territory has been allocated to who and sometimes re-allocates same territory. Sometimes you get a chancer, who just drops books anywhere hoping to pick up a new customer. It could be an SL doing an expired book drop looking for new reps, although I always put this book is expired, so if they recycle it, I don't mind.
You should have picked up the book and taken the Rep's details, called her and told her it was your allocated territory. It could have been a genuine mistake, or she may already know your customer.
your hubby is right, don't let someone else take your customers on your allocated territory, unless the customer is buying from another Avon rep who is family and friends. That cannot be helped.0 -
it's usually branded items in the sale I struggle with, presumably as they didn't have that many in the first place.
yes, I don't understand this, but I suppose they cannot predict accurately the popularity of a product. They may have previously ordered a lot of branded items to be manufactured to only find they cannot sell them.0 -
It could also be that someone has left the book outside for their friend to collect, rather than it being someone "poaching" your territory...I have this at a few houses across my territory, they seem to find it easier to leave it out for their rep/friend to collect. Of course if theres books outside at lots of houses in a row, then it is most likely someone wandering on your territory.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Hi ladies, I have read about a hair serum product in another post that seems to be really well thought of. When I looked at the latest catalogue, it wasn't obvious to me, which product it was. Can anyone clarify please?0

Hi-I was collecting my brochures yesterday and chatting to a customer when an old guy says to me "are you the avon rep"? Yes I say. Ah I will get you your book-so off he runs(literally) and produces the book-I then noticed he ran back to a house on the corner which isn't one of mine.
Looking at the brochure I see it is another reps. Was too busy to put it back so kept it and put it outside the corner house today and phoned the rep. No answer but she phoned me back and I told her what happened.
Thing is-if I hadnt bothered she may have heard the old guys version and thought I was poaching so far better to be friendly and let her know. We had a goood natter and of course I told her about this forum and now we both have someone we can ring if we need something and may be able to help each other out at some time. We noted each others territories so all is well. If you are reading this Jane then you know its me by the above details and good luck with collecting your missing brochures!
Not not very good orders this campaign so far-do hope I get a couple of big ones to top it up!
Someone said earlier about "we all have the same date to order by" depending on the mailplan (mailplan d or whatever)allocated. Yes but me for instance, Ive submitted my order 2 days early on both of the last campaigns as I had covered my territory. So if it was first come frist served I may have got a better chance? Who knows!Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0 -
Crikey- those people talking about receiving their deliveries - is that for C13? I havn't even submitted my order yet! Guess I'm on a very late mail plan haha!0

I for one who uses it regularly can vouch for it! I usually end up with curly/wavy hair when it rains. I have been using it and went out in the rain, and guess what.... my hair stayed straight! I couldn't believe it. A product that does what it says on the tin!:T0
