Well, I have officially exhausted the shampoo/conditioner and shower gel stash and have had to buy more today. Spent £4.50 on big (500ml?) Pantene shampoo and conditioners (2 for £5 at Mr S but also had a 50p coupon to use) and £1 on a big Cussons Aloe Vera shower gel for hols from the pound shop (I like the smell and should be nice on sunburn!)

Hopefully shouldn't need much more than toothpaste this month - famous last words!

I spent £8.58 in July. I bought 2 packs of Tesco Vitamin E Facial Wipes and spent £7.60 on a Dermalogica starter kit (I had bought a voucher in May from mycitydeal that entitled me to £15 off the Dermalogia kit).

I'm planning to spend less this month, maybe even nothing at all! I have nearly used up my Herbal Essences shampoo though, and don't really like any of the other bits of shampoo I have left, However I will try to persevere and not buy any new shampoo until August unless my hair goes especially awful!

Just off to reorganise the bathroom cupboard!

Decided not to buy the shower gels in Tesco as I didn't like the smell of the raspberry one and wasn't going in especially for the lemon - I'm a good girl!

Thanks, a full month of use ups does make it look like we're making progress. I think I might make it even more useful for July by counting items in and items out. Important point here is that items in really needs to be a lower number than items out.

Who had over 1500 items when they did a stocktake or anyone remember what the exact number was? I'm too scared to do a full count like that. Maybe I'll do it next January if I manage to use up loads of samples before then.

I have a notebook in my handbag and am using it too keep lists for everything, toiletries used, freebies received, mystery shops done and any other MSE challenges I sign up to. Then I can type the lists for my diary thread later

I will continue with the challenge in July too. I only spent £3.50 in June buying Marie Claire in order to get the Cowshed shower gel. Planning on buying nothing in July. The stash in the bathroom has gone down a bit due to putting shower gel, sun lotion, schampoo etc. in the gym bag. No UU's to report so far this month. I now have £38 in my saving pot, £1 for every item I use up.

Good luck with the challenge everyone.
No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23
    Boots points:£39.21. Extra money in 2012:£674.59. In 2013 £603.48. 2014: £85. 2015: £0 :j

Well count me in again for the month, feel like I did pretty well last month, just as well as my bank manager decided he liked me enough to send me a letter and charge me for the priviledge!

Apart from some mag freebies, I got 2 bottles of sun tan lotion (241 in Lloyds chemist), some floss and 2 bars of honey soap. Not that I needed any more soap, but the poor guy who sells it has lost most his hives to this bee thing so I got some while I could.

Intend to have long soak and do a top to toe with the splurgy stuff later while the match is on....:T

I'm joining! I have a load of make up and toiletries to use up, and really need to get through it before I buy anything else. It is a bit of a weakness of mine, I think, buying something new to see how good it is. Here's hoping! :D So far I haven't bought any toiletries in July (all 3 days of it so far!) but I have used the last dregs of a bottle of foundation I had sat on my shelf and finally had to throw out the stub of a black eyeliner pencil which had disappeared inside the cap and it would be impossible to use if I sharpened it any more. Fortunately, I have about 7 or 8 of them in my drawer - it's just a case of digging them out :D

I have an eye cream on order from Avon which I'll have to pay for, but as I ordered this in June I am counting that as last month rather than this. I do need it as I've run out. Any day that I don't buy something new (including a magazine for the freebie) is going to be a good day. I keep telling myself that if I stick to drinking more water (to keep my skin clear), and generally moisturising in a set routine (with a good SPF for protection) then I shouldn't have to succumb to the latest and greatest big thing of toiletries!

after discussing straw like hair with my hairdresser she recomended a chlorine removing shampoo/conditioner so bought the Boots sun/swim and gym ones and am really pleased as my hair looks much better after my swim yesterday:):):) just wish it was not a 2 hour round trip to Boots:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

they were on offer too at 2 for £4 I think so saved about £1.50:)

    Early evening all,

I bought some supplies today. All stuff I needed. Namely eye make up remover from Clinique (last few drops left in the Clarins one now). Bought 2 in Boots as had a free kit. The free kit is now in my swim bag to encourage me there. Plus if bought a 3rd thing got £7.50 worth of points. Bought the airbrush concealer that I had been ogling over for about a year. Have no such product so again, yay me.

Should have bought some of their cotton wool in Boots but never mind. So glad I bought the Clinique bits at a time when there's some sort of offer. Apparently the Bonus Time in Boots is next month sometime. I love being so MSE about the purchases now.
