It certainly was a novelty, if I remember rightly I got it from the Coca Cola shop, however it made my lips white! I hate to think what colour the coca cola ones would make your lips. :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Afternoon all and welcome to any newbies. I'm in again for July, although I'm not really making much progress with my stash. It seems to be neverending.Going straight away to do some food shopping now! Smack my virtual wrist if you find me back here before 10.30pm!! I know - isn't it just?!
:D If I ever added it all up I think I'd cry for a week, but I am improving I think, working out my triggers and determined to go cold turkey this month.....It could be worse huh?
Honest apart from cotton wool pads and anti-whiff, I have not bought any toiletries at all since 10 DEC last year!!!!!!!:eek::eek::eek:
Keep at it ladies!Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician....0 -
I just suddenly thought, surely we shouldn't be celebrating our use ups because then it means we have to buy new things more quickly?!My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

:T Also I feel I must congratulate my fellow shower gel addict lynseydee, I seem to recall she's used up another shower gel. :T
I have a confession for I have sinned, in my recent Avon order I did order another shower gel.
I know I shouldn't have but my main thing in doing this exercise was trying not to buy anything from Avon as I used to quite easily order something every campaign. The fact that I haven't ordered anything from them since 9th September 2009 for me is an achievement in itself so I felt I deserved a little treat and I had really wanted to try this particular fragrance.
Other than that I haven't been making any other unnecessary purchases so can I be forgiven?Did owe £9,951.96

Hi L1977: OOooo for me celebrating the use ups is a good thing. Otherwise I would be back to my old tricks of starting and not finishing stuff. I know what you mean, all along we need to make sure we are using the stuff up in a MSE way. :money: Although the temptation to go mad with something you HAVE to simply use up quickly can be too much!
Talking of which...
Used up:
Sample of Elemis pro collagen hand cream - wiba yes but only if on offer. Its about £30. Its lovely stuff. Really lovely.Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Afternoon all and welcome to any newbies. I'm in again for July, although I'm not really making much progress with my stash. It seems to be neverending.
Hello Jacks, I hope you're feeling much better now. I think you've been very brave posting your list and you're right, it could indeed be worse - like mine!! :rotfl:I don't dare post my list so far. I dread to see the comments I would get and I haven't even finished it yet.
Keep at it ladies!
 Thank you Babafette my lovely - my comments would all be extremely envious ones! Big as my stash is I still feel jealous of other people's lovely products!
I've found the two techniques that help me get through it all are to use up the minis - plenty of UUs to report that way, and to limit my choices.
For example: If I've got 4 cleansers out on the shelf then it's going to take me years to finish one - but if I've only got one out then it's much quicker.
So I have "In Use And Easily Grabbable" and "Open - But If You Really Want It You'll Have To Root Around In This Big Plastic Box Under The Dressing Table"
So mostly it's just quicker and easier to use what's out unless I want or need something from "The Crate" so I feel as if that's pretty much manageable doable and under control.
It's the "not buying any new and shiny make up" I'm still struggling with. I haven't bought any of the last between 12 -20 palettes that Bobbi Brown has brought out but that just means that one day I'll think I've been good for quite long enough and I'll buy three of 'em!
Keep at it chick. The sheer effort we're making must be making some kind of a difference! :j :rotfl:Just what I was thinking - puts my stash to shame
 Even though so many people say the same thing I still don't really believe it!:o I think I need it all.
The only person I've ever found who thinks like me is an old workmate who had pretty much a whole room devoted to shoes and boots which seemed a little excessive to me (I have 10 pairs in total.)
She could explain why she needed every pair. She had colours to go with every outfit and heel heights and designs for every situation. These are for work, these go with that outfit, and these go with that same outfit when I'll need to be able to walk a lot. These match my purple suede bag....
And I'd be exactly the same about my stash!
I'm really trying hard though. Last month I was cruising along quite happily having only bought one thing all monthwhen they put my favourite make up artist Mally Roncal on QVC and I bought three items. (Plus an OPI try me kit.)
Note to self: NO QVC at TOTM!Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0 -
Used up yet another body spray, and a hairspray today. When I finally finish my shower gels, ( I have about 3 almost finished) I will use my bubble bath in the shower, as I don't have baths very often, so it will take me forever to use them up otherwise, lol! Going shopping for a few essentials tomorrow, but I don't NEED any toiletries, so I must resist the urge to buy any!

Hmm does asking your Dad to buy stuff count?
Opened the two Aussie for dry hair bottles and my hair feels terrible so have asked Daddy dearest to add a bottle of shampoo and conditioner to his shopping list for tomorrow, will alternate between the cheap ones and Aussie stuff so I use both, then will take just the Aussie on hols with me.It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
