hello, I'm brighthair and I have a few addictions. Mainly Lush, MAC, Sleek makeup, TIGI. I used to work for Lush so you can imagine how much of that I have! I also have at least 50 MAC single eyeshadows and pigments, 2 Urban Decay books of shadows, 2 more Urban Decay pallettes, and a Sleek one

Last thing I bought - Dermalogica pre cleanse and ultra calming cleanser in salon sizes. Cost £120 approx, but should last me ages and ages
I'm about to use up a body shop sample of rainforest moisture conditioner

Welcome, brighthair! Always nice to have a new member, although with all that Dermalogica stuff, I would expect you to have more than just bright hair. ;)

I went to the Next sale today and came away with a bottle of Pure perfume for £5 instead of £12. I've head good stuff about Next perfumes, and this one really suited me. I've come to realise that I don't really have any summery perfumes as my other 'everyday' ones are quite heavy, and the only one I could use is lovely, but very, very strong, so would be a bit much on a day-to-day basis (or maybe I'm just trying to justify my purchase to myself.)

The only good thing I can say is that it cost much less than the clothes I bought there! :rotfl: :o

Forgive me girlies for I have sinned :o

Whilst collecting a prescription in Boots today, I noticed the reduced aisle so had a little look whilst I was waiting and happened upon some L'Oreal wrinkle de-crease serum marked to a fiver (it's £14.99 on their web site).....................

......and well it was just too much temptation - especially when the nice SA left me have it free with my boots £5 off voucher :rotfl:

If forgiven I promise to be a good girl and not enter either Boots or Superdrug or Body Care or even walk down the beauty aisle in the supermarket again until at least August ;)

Does that mean you got it for free? If so, no forgiveness is needed and you get extra brownie points for super :money:-ing! :D

well I've used the Rainforest Moisture - sells nice, went on well, washes out easily. Sample size too small for my thick curly hair so I will be impressed if it looks good!

My skin is awful at the moment, I have a huge breakout on my chin - hormonal the facialist tells me :-(

Used up the wombled Malmaison conditioner yesterday so onto the 8 million (well, 7) pots of Botanics 3 minute conditioner now. It's lucky I like it!

    hi InaPickle

It certainly was for free - I dont know who was more shocked, the SA that it came up as nothing to pay, or me for him letting me have it:j

Another product has gone in the bin today, YSL lilac mascara. I wont buy this again, it made my eyes look smudgy. My £1.99 mascara from Boots gives a better result than the one which in the bin now.

Bunnykins - well done for getting the product for free, what a bargain.
No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23

I still have some from the tesco health and beauty vouchers :o

Loads of my stash dates back to the H&B days not sure I will ever get through it! I think this was where my major problems started as it was so easy/cheap to do, along with many Boots glitches along the way:o

I feel I have come a long way since first joining this challenge in January and not just with toiletries, I seem to be doing this with a lot of things I buy or don't as is often the case nowadays! Still can't turn down freebies or almost freebies but at least they don't have much impact on my pocket and I usually only get 1 or 2 whereas in the old days I would have got loads.

A few use-ups this week, but nothing to write home about so no WIBA as most of them I probably wouldn't unless they were giving them away and I have replacements already in place - shower gel, handwash, toothpaste x 2, body lotion. Also a few throwaways I decided I did not want to use as didn't suit. I still don't feel as if I am making any headway on my stash.

    Hi everyone,

Not been on here much as doing loads of decluttering. That includes this stuff so:
Benefit Eye Bright and It Stick - WIBA yes (already have with that freebie magazine offer) - love both these products. I have binned them as I cannot remember how old they are (not a good thing with eye make up) and I'm pretty sure the eye bright in particular (as so old) probably irritated my eyes recently. I line my eye with it much more natural than a bright white pencil I find for me.

No purchases as not been out! But I need some decent self tan as the cheapie one I got was not good - the Garnier sunshimmer think its called. Maybe my skin is drier than most hence so patchy on me. Also faded really really patchy. So that will be a planned buy.
:) Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage
