Glad I'm not the only Boots addict here. The "worst" thing is when they send you all those lovely Advantage double points offers that you simply MUST use :p

Oh I know! I don't like it when I buy basics there and get a coupon for something (like £5 off No7 or similar) as chances are there'll be nothing I want that's under a £5 but there'll be things I want that are slightly over.....

In a post recently I mentioned that my downfall is currently eye cream and today I got a Dr Brandt eye cream through the post...yet I have no idea where from! I have a very vague memory of entering something; either a competition or a giveaway of some kind but I can't for the life of me remember what it was and it's really bugging me! Handy, because I do love a nice eye cream, but I'm desperate to know where it's from! Anybody know? I've been googling and gone through my e-mails but I can't find anything, plus there was no information with the package.

I didn't buy it though! That's the main thing :D

Not had time recently to be here, but just read loads of pages at once.
    Managed the following UU's
Bronnley Cornflower shower gel - WIBA - no, the smell was ok but nothing special, and it had little beads of moisture in that were a bit odd.
Aveda shampoo n conditioner WIBA - nope, you get rosemary and mint in your eye and see how you like it!! :rotfl:
Olay 7 signs face wash WIBA - only if on offer, nothing special.

Though I do have the following confessions :D

nearly out of shower gel, so could have moved onto using some soaps up, but no, I crept into the sin hall that is Body Shop today and went shopping.......
Got Vit E facial wash (justified as nothing to use but a tiny facial bar soap now), Seaweed day cream (nearly out of Simple and lack the funds to buy Boots PnP this month), warming mineral mask (have none), and a passionfruit shower gel. So not bad going really, though I hot footed it passed the body butters (all £5 here)

And I am getting a parcel of Champneys stuff sent to me as 1/2 price and we x have Sainsbury's here. I blame Martin for this one as it was his email that told me about it!!:wall:

Still trying to reduce the toiletries mountain, now a hill........ :j

Hello! Sorry, been neglecting this a bit although not giving in to temptation and buying stuff so not too bad. A number or UU's to report:

A mini XS Femme perfume - WIBA? no - ok, but nothing special.

Garnier minerals roll-on deodorant WIBA? - yes, if on offer. Did the job and as it stands upside down was less wasteful than some other roll- ons. Have now moved on to a boots spray one.
S&G iFoam - WIBA? Absolutely! Lovely stuff! Not used it before and was extremely impressed. Now got a BS mango one out to use.
A mini Radox shower smoothies strawberry shower cream - WIBA? Probably not - it smelt nice enough but the strawberry seeds were a bit off-putting! :-0
Other than that I am on the dregs of my hand and foot creams so will have to report on those shortly. I am also getting back to swimming again so that should see the death of some mini shampoos, conditioners and shower gels.

I've had a UU this morning of a small pot of Boots Royal Jelly with extracts of Pure Honey Body Lotion. WIBA? Yes, it had a light texture which absorbed into the skin easily and I liked the smell (I've got some more of this though so won't be buying for a while). I was targeting using up this one as it is a small 30 ml lightweight pot that I will be able to decant some foot lotion into for my hols.

It seems quiet on here - holiday season I suppose!

I've had a few more use ups, but just popping in to say that I've got to spend some of my savings from the challenge - my ghd's have died! Gutted.

Fortunately I have an old other-brand pair to use in the meantime, but this seems like a good use of my little savings pot from the challenge - so not buying toiletries has been extra useful in times of (hair) crisis :D

Now, do I go for one of the special offers that include a free shampoo/hair treatment/serum/other potentially useless hair product along with the strighteners? :rotfl:

Have finished another pack of the boring wipes - still plenty left though, so no need to buy again!

Used up the Avon Laser Cellulite Cream/Gel Thing. WIBA? Yes, if it was on offer - it is quite pricy but it does work. I've got quite a few firming gels and creams to use up, so there's plenty to use yet :D
