Have just had a glimpse of the BE TSV and am determined not to buy it - only a 2g foundation and purple eyeshadow is soooo not me. BE strong all you beauty addicts out there! I will not BE watching for the rest of the day as Beauty Month is just too tempting!

My idea for July is to save all my UU empties in a bag so I can see just how much space my stash must be taking up in the house. Will probably be quite scary!

What a good idea! :T I'm resisting the Bare Escentuals TSV as well. Even though I am a mineral make up user I really don't need any of it. I'm pleased that QVC have started doing Fair in the foundation shades, irritated that they didn't show us whether the foundation in the TSV has the new top, and amused that several of the on-air items are mis-spelt as Bare Essentials but mostly I'm trying to keep busy today and not be tempted.

No UUs for me today but loads of things on their last splutters so I expect I shall have some more soon. :j

Berlimey it's flippin' hot innit? :D

Afternoon all. I have bought a lip brush, but I've lost my old one, and all the ones you get with palettes are short handled and I like a long paint-brush type handle! It was a Cosmo one reduced to £1.50 in Tesco, so quite a good buy.
  • Used up some foot cream.Had it so long the label ahd worn off. Think it was Boots. Now using another tube of foot cream I found. Nothing bought this month apart from mouthwash.

I understand what you mean now but I think what I was trying to get across was you know when you use some lotions they don't actually sink into the skin and you just get bits of lotion that look like dead skin. Probably still not explaining myself properly :rotfl:

Oh I get what you mean. No wonder you wondered what I was going on about! Maybe the lotion has gone off?!! Maybe you should bin it, some stuff just isn't worth persevering over!

Unfortunately it's always been like this but like you say maybe I should just bin it. Might try and see whether it makes a better body lotion than it does a massage lotion before I decide to put it in the bin for good. See arn't I being good :A

Another product has gone in the bin today. LE sheer pink lip shimmer. I have had this product for a couple of years now and it was only half used up. The lip shimmer made my lips sticky and wasn't nice to have on the lips so I decided to bin in today. I wont be buying it again.

Only one use up for me tonight - finished the HUGE bubble bath thing that I gave my mum for christmas - she didnt like it so weve been using it as hand soap, but there wasnt enough left to put in the pot for soap,so i bunged it in the bath. WIBA?? no. was horrible

also used another huge lump of the random gloopy stuff from the lush bags... still got some to go with that though !!

Whoops, another small failure, although still no purchases!

Treated myself to a flake on my way home from work today and entered the code...and won a Benefit lipstick/gloss, and then discovered that I had another one unclaimed, need to go to a Benefit counter now to choose two colours. On the plus side I can sell the Body Shop lippy I bought the other day (a mystery shop) as soon as it's confirmed and I'm being paid for it, and probably one of the Benefit ones.

Morning, all! Finally managed to use up that tube of La Source hand cream from Crabtree and Evelyn. Metal tubes going into the bin make me feel so much better as they squish down to absolutely nothing! :D I'm starting on a big pot of Vaseline Intensive Care for Hand and Nails now.

Not to tempt you-but Body Butter in the BS sale, now down to £3!!!:j

Dignity, you are a very naughty girl: just look what you made me do...

I bought 4 BS body scrubs for £15 the other day near work and then you posted about that sale online, so I returned them and ordered them again online, plus 2 body butters, one of which was necessary to take it to above £15 for free delivery, and the other just cos I wanted (but did not need it! :o).

I would have stopped at just the body scrubs, without you Dignity. I hope you feel happy with yourself! :rotfl:
