Unfortunately I'm not too good at getting up in the mornings so might not have time to do this. How would I use it as an exfoliator anyway (sorry if this is a dumb question but I've had one of those days today)?
I think you'd said the lotion goes into small balls and I was thinking that the rubbing action of these on your skin would act as a sort of gentle exfolitator? I used a sachet of cellulite cream for legs recently (one more to go) and you had to massage the cream in and that went into small balls. You had to do this before you got in the shower. I wasn't convinced it would do anything for cellulite but I felt that the friction of the small balls against the skin might have some exfoliating properties. I'll stop talking nonsense now!0 -
I have a UU to report and a confession to make which I can't really justify.
OK so I was in the Trafford Centre on Thursday night and saw that Selfridges have an Elemis offer on - buy cleanser, toner and travel size Maximum Moisturiser for £25.00. Last week I saw this and managed to avoid buying it but this week I have been using the cleanser and toner together and think my skin looks brighter (love the toner more than the cleanser) plus I do like using Maximum Moisture as a night cream so decided to go for it. Plus MrM encouraged me to get it as well.
Bless Mr M!0 -

So it wouldn't have been very MSE to not get it now given that it was a future intended purchase!
Was the £3 voucher off anything or just the carrot moisturiser?
I really don't need any more moisturiser although as lots of you seem to like this BS one I'm intending to buy it in the future.
I was just thinking that when I go shopping this week it may be worth loitering around the BS in case I get given a voucher? I really want to try the lemon body butter or the Love (??) one. I don't think we'll ever be cured of this toiletries addiction!0 -

I like having a 'luxury' hand cream for work as the soap can be very drying there, and it does work wonders on my cracked skin in winter.

Kitchenbunny,
My local Debenhams sell Crabtree & Evelyn products you might find the hand cream there.
If not, this is their website http://www.crabtree-evelyn.co.uk

Hope you are all well. So far this month I haven't bought anything and I am not planning to buy anything either.
This morning I used up a sample sachet of youth surge SPF15 from Clinque. Surprisingly I liked it eventhough it was for skin type dry/combination when I have got dry/dehydrated skin. I shall go to the counter and ask for a sample for the dry skin only and if I like that one as well I might buy it in the autumn.
Finally I have used up Weleda's mineral based body sun cream. I have always loved all the products that I have used from Weleda but this one was truly awful. It left a slight yellow mark on the skin. I have used this one up as a suncream hand lotion only and will never again appear in my bathroom cabinett.
Thanks for all your reports on products I enjoy reading them. There are so many brands that I have never even heard of.
Have a lovely weekend.

I had a facial not so long ago and they used the Elemis products on me. Although I thought my skin looked pretty good after it I didn't like the feel of the moisturiser she used and also the fact it seems to me that Elemis products have a shorter shelf life opened and unopened which has put me off a bit.Did owe £9,951.96

I understand what you mean now but I think what I was trying to get across was you know when you use some lotions they don't actually sink into the skin and you just get bits of lotion that look like dead skin. Probably still not explaining myself properly :rotfl:Did owe £9,951.96

Jacks, what is this eye complex designed for. I use an eye cream on and off but haven't really noticed any difference. Not really too sure that I should be using one as having oily skin don't have to worry about wrinkles just yet
but feel that now I've hit mid 30s I should be using something on my eyes too
 It says it's s'posed to
"lighten, firm, resurface and re-hydrate the delicate eye tissue."
but on QVC Alison Young harps on the resurfacing effect the most. I find it has made my eyelids smoother and the rough slightly purplish bit in the inner corner looks less angry and more skin coloured than purple. I don't have wrinkles or bags or traditional dark shadows (yet) which most eye products seem to focus on so this one is fab for me.
Ther QVC reviews are here: http://www.qvcuk.com/ukqic/qvcapp.aspx/app.detail/params.item.227729
Not everybody loves it.:DNot everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0
