Ive still got the remains of my Daily Smooth though, and I havent opened my hatbox for a fair old while though, so not just yet - which is annoying when you lot have just told me that there is a sale on for them !!! I dont remember the body butters being quite as nice as this one was, though I still think I prefer lotions maybe....Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0

Unfortunately I'm not too good at getting up in the mornings so might not have time to do this. How would I use it as an exfoliator anyway (sorry if this is a dumb question but I've had one of those days today)?Did owe £9,951.96

UU Alpha H Eye complex 15ml WIBA? Oh my god yes. This is pretty much the only eye product I've ever used that has done anything for my rough and purplish inner corners and eyelids! Luckily I have a couple in The Stash.
Jacks, what is this eye complex designed for. I use an eye cream on and off but haven't really noticed any difference. Not really too sure that I should be using one as having oily skin don't have to worry about wrinkles just yetbut feel that now I've hit mid 30s I should be using something on my eyes too

And another 'failure' here, got home to find a jiffy bag on the kitchen table containing a shampoo to product test....at least it smells like a good one! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I haven't gone out specifically to buy toiletries today, but I did get some anyway. I forgot that I'd ordered an eye-lift cream and a split end repairer from Avon (in June) and also my subscription copy of Glamour turned up today with a free sample of a Nutrogena Face Wash and a teeny Acqua Di Gioia test sample. That sample I'm wearing now and it's gorgeous - really citrussy and watery - very uplifting.
I'm not sure if I'll have any use ups today but I'll report back a bit later. I'm having a bath tonight as it has been SO hot and sticky/close while taking the bus home. I've nearly finished a tube of Avon Professional Cellulite Cream and I would buy it again when I've used up my other body and firming gels as it does work well.I've quite a few Avon products to use up and am also looking for alternatives - it's brilliant to read all your recommendations. Thank you!

Just a quick update re the cellulite cream - I'll have to cut it open tomorrow to use it to its entirety which could pose some problems. It is a dual formula package with one cream in one tube and a concentrate in a second tube around the first which dispense together. That could prove a little awkward when getting the dregs of it out. We'll see!
Beyond that, I've taken today's colour of nail polish off my toes (I don't know if anyone else feels superstitious and silly because of it but it feels like I have bad luck whenever I paint my nails!) and I've put on a coat of a Rimmel Strengthening Nail Colour instead. It is pale pink and shimmery (really not me) but it does need using up and if it improves the condition of my toenails then so be it! I'm going to be lovely this time next year if I keep up this good work.

Have just had a glimpse of the BE TSV and am determined not to buy it - only a 2g foundation and purple eyeshadow is soooo not me. BE strong all you beauty addicts out there! I will not BE watching for the rest of the day as Beauty Month is just too tempting!
My idea for July is to save all my UU empties in a bag so I can see just how much space my stash must be taking up in the house. Will probably be quite scary!0 -
I have a UU to report and a confession to make which I can't really justify.
First up UU : jar of Boots Time Delay Daily Moisturiser. WIBA? No, but then I didn't pay for this one. It was a freebie I got from the Advantage kiosk ages ago. I think they have changed the packaging since I got this. I love Elemis PCMC as a day cream as it's light enough in texture for my combination skin. The Boots one was too thick for day time but then not thick enough as a night cream (which I what I used it for) on its own. Had to use an oil underneath it. Wouldn't buy it again purely for this reason.
OK so I was in the Trafford Centre on Thursday night and saw that Selfridges have an Elemis offer on - buy cleanser, toner and travel size Maximum Moisturiser for £25.00. Last week I saw this and managed to avoid buying it but this week I have been using the cleanser and toner together and think my skin looks brighter (love the toner more than the cleanser) plus I do like using Maximum Moisture as a night cream so decided to go for it. Plus MrM encouraged me to get it as well.
I really must stop buying cleansers and toners now as I now have in my stockpile:-
1 x LE C&P, 1 x Decleor cleanser, 1 x Soap and Glory cleanser and now this Elemis one. I now have 2 x toners in stockpile (1 x LE and this Elemis one).
I also bought a tinted moisturiser from Avon this week but don't have any of that at all and don't like wearing make up now that the weather is getting hotter.
I promise not to buy anything else even though it is Beauty Day on QVC - mind you if there is a good L'Occitane TSV by the end of the month I may be tempted to get one as a Christmas gift for my sister which surely doesn't count.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

A purchase yesterday but it was a bargain - BS Carrot moisturiser for 99p - was intending to buy it when my Sanctuary night cream ran out but then was walking past the BS yesterday like a good girl and a lady handed me a voucher for £3 off with no min spend! So it wouldn't have been very MSE to not get it now given that it was a future intended purchase!
No more UUs but I haven't had my shower yet today so we'll see.My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |
