This thread is fantastic! Is it too far into July for me to join? I've only bought one thing so far (which is amazingly good for me!)....unless I have to list all my stuff as that'd take me until August which wouldn't be funNever argue with an idiot; they'll bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.0

 Welcome to the gang hon! :j
You don't have to list all your stuff cherub. (Doing mine took most of June!) I did mine to keep me honest, to enable me to keep track of UUs in this thread - and to try and drum into my thick skull that the reason it took literally days to list it all is because I've got too damn much!:rotfl::eek:Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. I usually use the Microplane and Flexitol heel balm, but I'm trying out the Scholl version at the mo. (too early to say much)Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0 -

I’m just catching up on all weekend posts now, so welcome to all the newbies – please come and tell us all the lovely stuff you have, and tempt (or warn!) us with reviews when you’ve finished anything

I’m using a cheese grater type foot file from Superdrug (), and currently Soap and Glory foot cream at night with cotton socks – definitely improving. TBH, I’m not sure any one cream is better than another, I’m convinced pretty much any decent moisturiser overnight with socks will do the job…
I’ve got a couple of use ups from the weekend, hurrah!- Large bottle of nail polish remover – no idea what brand, it was a cheap one. I’ve now only got one little bottle left, which was a free Opi one I got last week with a magazine subscription – it’s rubbish! Thank god it’s a small bottle, I can’t wait to be done with it, and will pop into a local pound shop this weekend to pick up another large cheap one instead which I’m sure will be miles better :rotfl:
- 5 sample moisturisers and foundation – nothing special so won’t bother commenting. Definitely nothing I’d buy again in there.
- Also threw out a nail varnish – It was a Hard Candy one, and had gone far too thick to use. TBH, it’s been too thick for quite a long time now, but I did preserve for a while. Scary thing is I have much older nail varnishes which are lasting much better, so doubt I’d buy a Hard Candy one myself. This was a present fortunately, and the colour was ok, but not one I’ll be rushing to try and match elsewhere. I’m still hoping to actually finish a nail varnish at some point…
And a couple of things in:- Neutrogena face wash sample and perfume sample from Glamour mag.
- Tub of baking soda to use as a face scrub – so much cheaper than a face scrub, and just the one chemical instead of dozens :rotfl: I’ve been out of face scrub for a while, and I can tell on my skin, so thought this would be worth a go.

Thanks for the lovely welcome! I'm doing quite well with not buying extra cosmetics etc; up until last month I was just completely ridiculous about it. If I had any 'spare' cash floating around then it would go on make-up and/or skin care. Plus I got a perm about 8 weeks ago now and needed all new stuff for the new hair, so that became an obsession for a bit. However I've managed to cut it down and I'd say I've only bought around 3 new things in the past month. Doesn't sound that great but I usually buy about 5 new things a week: insane. The thing that's really proving hard for me is new eye cream. I have the devil and the angel arguing constantly in my head, the devil saying things like 'you never know, this next cream might be the one to get rid of the fine lines and bags!!' and the angel is saying 'you've tried every 5 star eye cream you could find and it's made absolutely no difference, so just use the ones you've got and THEN start looking for others' so it's a bit of a battle.....hopefully that doesn't make me sound insaneNever argue with an idiot; they'll bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.0
