You definitely can plan a wedding in 3 months for october. We planned in 3 and a half months for July. We orginally wanted our 7th anniversary (4th July) but it wasn't available at the venues we wanted and was on a Sunday anyway, making it difficult for guests. So we then checked which Saturdays were available in July, booked our favourite (another date that was special to us), found out my sister couldn't get the time off to come help out for that weekend and changed it to the week before. I thought I'd be really fussy about it once we couldn't get our anniversary and I'd want a really meaningful date, but once you've booked your date, the fact that it IS your wedding date makes it special in it's own right, even if it wasn't special to you before.“Listen to the mustn'ts, child. Listen to the don'ts. Listen to the shouldn'ts, the impossibles, the won'ts. Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me... Anything can happen, child. Anything can be.”― Shel Silverstein0

We wanted 2012 and looked at May originally, then settled on 2nd June as it's the four day bank holiday weekend and then family can stay and make it a mini-break. Plus I work in a school, so it means we can have a mini-moon
