I've posted the new competition here in the main section as it's not really a weekly as there is a new prize and question each week, rather than it being the same competition you can make multiple entries for. Hopefully more people will see it there and it can be posted there in the future. Absolutely gutted I missed seeing the Tiesto tickets comp.

edit to add: Didn't realise this wasn't actually in the regular section, but it was linked in there. Sorry for the confusion.0 -
Its here as a thread because it keeps starting and stopping. This thread is a follow on to a previous thread, where I asked for advice on whether to post the comps seperately or as a thread, and was advised to post as a thread.
I think the title explains that the prizes vary, but that you can enter weekly when its running. Its also on main board so gets bumped when a new Q pops up.My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly
Our Precious Baby Tianna has now joined our Family, she is much loved and very welcome, xxx0 -
also depends on your deffinition of weekly.....daily threads with a new answer and prize everyday are supposed to be posted as one and linked in dailies so weeklies should be the same.0

I think you've hit the nail on the head there, it depends on your definition of "weekly", and everyone's definition will be different. MSE don't have an official definition anywhere which is why there is so much inconsistency on the board.
Take the ITV competitions for example, such as Dickinson's Real Deal, This Morning or Best Dish. They all have competitions either daily or weekly yet all get posted as separate threads each time there is a new competition. Same for things like the magazines. Most of the magazines are published weekly or monthly (e.g. Shortlist, Nuts, etc) so their competitions are also "weekly" or "monthly" yet these are always posted separately.
From my point of view if they are all posted on one thread which is bumped everytime there is a new comp then a lot of people will miss seeing the bump and then miss the competitions. For people who enter by end date, they will miss every competition but the last one. I would never have seen this thread if I hadn't seen the competition on facebook. As is clear from this thread, for the first few weeks of competitions they were only getting less than 100 thanks, but the one I posted last week as a separate thread has over 300 so it would be fair to assume that it has been accessible to more people.
Please don't think I was in any way saying you had posted it incorrectly Mamzie, everyone posts differently so there is no wrong or right way. I don't know what the right way to post it is. I'm just grateful that you took the time to find the competition originally and post it. I was just trying to help more people see it, and I really wish MSE would come and define some proper rules so we can all post consistently.:)0
