I'm trying to think of what to wear to see the Prodigy next weekend too, I found a boob tube I'd made out of an old Chemical Brothers T shirt years ago, so that's on the shortlist. I'm not sure what else, it's an outside gig.
Well it sounds fab but will it hold up to lots of manic dancing and pogo-ing? I seem to remember the last Prodigy gig I went to being a rather raucous affair. Steel toe-capped Dic Martens will probably be the order of the day.
Pirate, I'm with RW. Do something lovely, a long soak in the bath, sew something, a favourite film, treat yourself to something yummy for tea.0 -
I'll be ok, have had an offer from a friend to go for tea, another just to go round - just frustrates me that I always make plans with friends and then they cancel at last minute (same people, I guess I give too many chances). That said, i could prob do with a night in, got a busy weekend planned, could do with doing some washing, ironing and a bit of sewing in front of a dvd or something.0

I went shopping, whoops! Got a Kermit the Frog jumper from New Look (pure comfort shopping, it's grey marl and so cosy) and an owl ring, plus some very nice cream canvas and brown leather brogues from River Island which were priced at £12 but went through the till at £8, yay
Also got various bits as presents for people.
No luck with the top though Char - don't think it's ever been in stock in that store0 -
Yay for kermit!!
And thanks for looking for the top. I'll look online again tomoro..0 -
Evening ladies.
Urgh the weather has been torrential rain all day - not good!Popped into Peacocks today and they had my top but it wasn't my size, guess it wasn't to be. I did get this from the Jane Norman sale. I think its quite flattering on and I did want it when it was full price.
Hugs to everyone having a bad day. I hope things look up soon.
Make £10 a day challenge (August) - £175/£3100 -
Day 1 of loosing a stone, feeling rubbish, think my body goes into shock from not consuming so much sugar, after about 3 days i'll be okay.
Busy time of year due to end of term events:( feel like i'm meeting myself coming back.
Today's outfit is grey linen trousers(m&s) peachy primark vest, animal print cardy (via friend) peachy glads, bangles and pearl earrings. I absoloutly hate linen trousers but they are so cool, think i'm gonna have a ban on them next year.
queenie, just looked at your pix of your wardrobe and it looks like mine:rotfl:and where did you get that shoe rack??
Hugs to all those feeling blue
Sharron xSometimes your the dog, and sometimes your the lampost..:p0 -
evening all
Hurrah for the waistcoat char, hope to see it on your blog soonalso mabe you need to ditch your rubbish friends who keep letting you down, even if you could do with an early night they didn't know that!
Sounds like you got some fab bargains today alexand I've been digging out my tights, it's bloody freezing!
Sharron - the shoe racks are from argos, they are stackable so that's 2 racks stacked on top of eachother, they extend too. If I carry on buying shoes I'll need a third!
I'm so tired today, was awake at 4am. It gets so stuffy in our apartment in the evening but we've only got french doors (not windows) and we're on the ground floor, so can't let any air in while we're sleeping, I woke up feeling like I couldn't breathe it was horrible
I was really good this evening, I volunteered in the charity shop and didn't buy a thing! pretty good going for me!*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!NSD Jan 2/150 -
Alex - those brogues sound fab, looking forward to seeing them in an outfit.
Lots of us seem to be having sleeping probs. I woke up to thunder last night in the wee small hours. Don't mind waking to watch a rainstorm at the weekend and knowing I can go back to bed and have a lie in, but it's a bit rubbish during the week.
