Long time lurker of the forum and most of your blogs (goanmad's especially) but a first time poster and blogger.
Alex - I received an email invite and I can't say I was too impressed. Feels like there's something missing but maybe it will improve?!
Douglas - It's great to have a fella here - loving your outfits!
HelloYay for all the new posters on here!
I think I had too high hopes for it because I generally hate the layout of H&M stores and was hoping the website would make shopping with them a bit nicer.0 -
Bronnie, I think gold could look a bit too flashy unless you find something quite restrained. It's a lot of buttons so perhaps something more toned down might be better? Pewter sounds good.0

Wearing skinnies from new look, long sleeve top from next via carboot (50p, whoop) ballerinas from carboot (£1) double whoop. I am currently sporting super-glue in hair, looking like the guy out of something about mary
Bronnie, beautiful jacket, i think that gold would look fab, but not like the brassey gold iyswim?
Caroline, that joe browns dress was in the littlewoods catalogue i think? (you know the advert- spread the cost:o)

Afternoon All!
Late checking in today. Went swimming and met a friend for a mammoth charity shop, very restrained but did manage to snaffle some splendid peep toe shoe-boots from TopShop's sale for £10.
Douglas, you do sound very smart and around my age, I'm definately vintage (both the wardrobe and my date of birth).
NameYourBlog - welcome aboard!!
I'm wearing:
Vintage high waisted cord maxi skirt (from a very special person)
Aubergine vest
Vintage brown suede waistcoat (YMCA)
Huge tan leather waist belt (Age Concern)
1960's broen leather knee boots (Heart Foundation)
Liberty psychedellic silk scarf (Vintage shop)
Silver bangles, coin earrings and rings (India)
Off to wrap a pile of eBay parcels. Catch you later! x
Bronnie - I'd like to see gilt buttons on the coat. How many do you need and what size? I'll look through my collection.0 -
I think goldy buttons would look good on it bronnie for a kind of soldier / military look?0

Welcome NameyourBlog!
Bronnie - that coat was a bargain. I'm having a nightmare trying to find buttons for a coat. I need 15 of them and they are large. Driving me mad. I think the buttons will cost more than the coat!0 -
