Me, too, I'm over the blinking moon with it!

Hope everyone's well this afternoon. Managed a car boot this morning and am about to crack on with eBay shortly as I want to take photos outside and the skies looking a bit overcast.

    Today's Outfit:
1970's black cheesecloth hareems with embroidered waistband and ankles (Car Boot)
Black vintage suede ankle boots (Car Boot)
Black long sleeved skinny vest (Car boot)
    Vintage fur gilet (Charity shop)
Silver bangles, rings and hoops (India)
    Silver fob pendant (Charity shop)

An old man pointed me out to his wife and said "Look Luv, that girl's wearing them Rasputin trousers"

Char - I'd go blog sale if I were you.

    Hi all,

Caroline - that is an eventful day, hope everything goes great.

Wearing pink blouse, black shorts & tights and pink brogues. Was thinking about dying the shoes black (can shoes be dyed?!) but have had lots of compliments on them from folks in the office so guess they'll be staying pink for now!

    xx

Hi Sarah! Yep, there's a brand called Woly - it's been around for years, really easy to use and they even do metallics. I dyed a pair of boots once, not cheap but very effective.

PF - Yes, it was! :j

  • Afternoon all,

Well, I'm back from Ikea hell still in one piece. By the time I'd finished I couldn't be bothered to look at clothes so I think I'll pop into Glasgow next week.

    Outfit today:
Black short sleeve, tie waist t-shirt - M&S
Black wide leg trousers - Next
    Bronze pumps
Silver studs, chunky black & white bracelet - Accessorize
    Olive green parka - Debenhams

Caroline - Good luck for the job.

Sarah - the Westend Wedding Boutique on Dumbarton Rd does shoe dyeing if you provide them with a swatch. They can waterproof them once they've been dyed as well. From what I've seen , the results are pretty good.

    Goanmad- lol at old man

Good luck to all who have entered the fabric competition.
