Asda tights, the ultimate sheen in nude are really natural looking, and £3 a pairBaby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0
-
thanks for the tip, ice
i must say i kinda swear by the cheapo boxes of primark tights, think they are 1.50 for a box of 5pairs, which i find great as i get thru tights at a crazy rate, however expensive / otherwise they are!
today's outfit:
grey dress with pink floral print, vera moda sale (a dubious £15!!)
silvery grey long cardi, primark
long silver coloured chain with a heart pendant, not sure..
grey beret as i drove to work with the roof down0 -
Hi everyone, been so busy the last couple of days, hope you are all well. Congratulations Ice!
Yesterday:
olive green pencil skirt (hospice shop next door)
white darted shirt (Dotty P)
over a white lace slip (BHF)
Gold lurex cardigan (Oxfam)
Tan Mary Janes (New Look)
Currently I'm in an old jumper, a pair of shorts with clingfilm round my head and a wooly hat on top because I am hennaing my hair (Lush's Les Caca, I am a complete convert, they are amazing, but messy and take a long time to use - thank goodness for working from home)
Off to Belfast for the weekend later - I'm at a bit of a loss as to what to pack in a hand luggage-able capsule wardrobe? Especially with the indecisive weather. Any suggestions?:beer:0 -
Thanks Ice, I will go over to asda at some point and pick some up once the roads have less holiday makers on them as it will take nearly an hour to get there!! (its 6 miles away)
Pirate fairy, i wear Primark thick tights but find the normal ones don't last and as i'm in nurseries a lot up and down with the kids they don't even last a day! Suppose i should wear trousers the days i'm in the nurseries really, but when i'm doing forest school its the other extreme and i'm fully waterproofed and booted up, so sometimes just want to dress as a girl'we don't stop playing because we get old, we get old because we stop playing'0 -
Choccy - I couldn't resist and bought it myself. Sorry!
I'm not dressed yet because I need a shower and little man isn't awake yet (the shower is noisy and wakes him up as it's next to his bedroom). I'm quite enjoying the peace though!
I'm just checking out winter boots on line. I want some plain black heels but can't find any reasonably priced with a narrow calf.0 -
Caroline, have a look at Duo boots on ebay. They're quite expensive new but Sharron got a great bargain on ebay with hers.
I've decided that it's not going to get any sunnier than it is today so I given my maxi dress it's first wear:
Cream maxi with bold navy heart print and navy satin straps - Uttam London via DP
Navy short sleeved cardi - New Look
Black suede ruffle sandals - Primark
Silver rings - not sure0 -
Thanks Alex - I've already looked there. Lots of wide ones but not narrow. I bought some black biker ones last winter from Viva La Diva and I wore them all winter. I want the brown ones now. They are £100 so I'll hint heavily to hubby for a birthday present...as well as some black heeled boots.0

Oh isn't that always the way? I'm sure some will turn up.

Yes but with my brother and he doesn't like to shop! Although he's been firmly told that we're going to the IC shop.0
