I'm back, the ones in new look looked a little synthetic for my liking so I went for these instead http://www.riverisland.com/Online/women/shoes--boots/flats--pumps/brown-lace-up-masculine-brogue-shoes-590563
I love the detailing on them. I also bought a denim waistcoat in Miss S. I am reinstating the high street ban as off now...:beer:0 -
Oh they're nice Rainy. I have a similar RI pair with canvas sections - be warned, they may not be that comfy at first!0

Think that goes for all brogues, my gold glitter ones are rly painful ;(0

Hi, how is everyone this evening? I'm going to pig out with pizza and a dvd, then an early night I think.
I was naughty yesterday and bought these http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/boots/suedette-chunky-boot_200113901. Also got a stripey top from H&M, very basic but longline so will keep away the winter draughts. Watching a few more long tops on eBay so will hopfully have my a/w wardrobe soon.
I'm looking for a 'slouch' handbag. Anyone seen any pretty (and reasonably priced) ones? Black preferably but cream maybe.
And I really want a blazer, not sure how to wear one but I really want one lol :rotfl:.
Today was quite sunny and I got to take my LO to feed the ducks. Anyway I wore:
White gypsy skirt - Bay
Red vest top - new look
White Bolero - Quiz?
White mules
No make up on and hair 'un kept' looking to hide my black eye (its getting worse)
Make £10 a day challenge (August) - £175/£3100 -
Hi everyone
I'm in china at the moment. I'm in Beijing & it's pretty awesomeIve been to some temples and i love the parks - there's always loads of old people and kids and they do tai chi and dancing amongst the trees and play card games. It's all a lot more sociable over here.
I've just got to a really fancy hotel to go on a tour group down to the terracotta warriors & shanghai. It's kind of a shock after the £3.50 a night hostel i was in before!
I've been very good about shopping so far because i know i'll have to carry it for ages but they have some lovely things in the markets which i'll buy on the way back
Hopefully you guys will be glad to know i'm rejecting the usual traveller uniform of those slightly peachy feeling zip off shorts/trousers, boring tshirt & tevo sandles and wearing a pretty skirt i got from joe browns with an orange top and long (but short sleeved - tis quite warm!) grey cardi.
Sadly i can't read blogs over here as blogspot is entirely blocked by the great firewall... as is youtube, facebook, twitter & tons of other stuff... Leaves me a bit lost when i go on the internet because i always start with fb!
Congrats on the date DB0 -
