Although I couldn't do camping- I would love a camper van!!!!!!! would obviously need a huge one with built in bathroom;) or just be smelly:p

Just had a quick charity shop visit saw a nice River Island waistcoat - it did have tags on but they wanted 5.99 so couldn't really justify it.

PS the card shop next door had all the Christmas things in - cards, bags, its defo getting earlier it used to be the beginning of Sept but we're only halfway through August:eek:

Uck, much as I love Christmas, I do NOT want to be thinking about it in August. Not for several more months in fact, although I do start buying random bits and bobs as presents now.

I agree- get bits and bobs if I see them but I refuse to be buying Christmas cards already

I hate to see Christmas things in the shops this early. I have to admit to starting the shopping - or at least attempting to - when they go back to school after the summer hols.
  • Afraid I've already started christmas shopping too, it's the only way I can manage the budgeting.

I do feel sorry for the people who work in these shops they must be sick of the sight of them by the end of November never mind December, I do have a lot of my Christmas presants boughts for this year from the sales and all the family children I buy for are getting older now so I'm wimping out and giving money so really only need to get DS's and I'm sorted - apart from growning the money tree that DS2 seems to think money comes from;)

I must confess to be the one running around at 5 to 5 on Christmas Eve afternoon doing my Christmas shopping, I'm so disorganised!

I was expecting my Dorothy Perkins order to arrive today, but it hasn't. Instead I did receive a Monsoon top / dress I ordered from ebay. It's a bit longer than I expected !B)-pzt!EWk~$(KGrHqYOKi!Ew0uZTH2JBMPzej5dT!~~_35.JPGbut really nice on and not trousers for a change!

    Outfit today
    Indigo skinny jeans - DP's
Brown pink and blue long tunic top - DP's
    Beige boyfriend cardigan - George
    Cream ballet flats - ravel
    Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j

    Argh, help please!

I'm just packing for the wedding this weekend and thought I'd have a final try on of my outfit. The dress I was planning on wearing turns out not to suit my body shape at all and the only other thing I have in my wardrobe is this:

    S6304676.JPG
Now I do love it (would change the accessories - cream headband/fascinator, black heels and probably a cream pashmina/wrap) but there's something in my brain that thinks it's bad form to wear black or white to a wedding. I'd go and buy something else tomorrow but I am utterly skint and it'd have to go on the credit card which I want to avoid if possible. So be honest please, will it look odd to wear it to a wedding or do I need to get something else?
  • I adore that dress on you Alex, but and i may be wrong, so please tell me if i am, isn't black meant to be a no-no for weddings?? Off to google it.....
Sometimes your the dog, and sometimes your the lampost..:p
