Not to be an old stick in the mud... But have you considered phoning the council? I know you own/rent the properties, but they will have a mediation service for neighbour disputes. You may be able to get everyone in the same room to discuss it.
And just wondering - do any of your neighbours have kids? This sounds like things teenagers do. Could they be doing this and laughing away that everyone is blaming the drunk woman in the corner? I know at Uni I cellotaped a friend into her dorm room.0

            Well a turn of events...
She is moving.... she was evicted on Friday 25th June although is still there now???
A van was being packed on Saturday with mattresses etc and yesterday she was moving more belongings herself.
From what a neighbour downstairs told me yesterday the owner of the house has been trying to evict her for a year. But hooray she is going.
I'm nervous today in case she does something to my house while I'm here at work and I would love to know where she is moving to but the fact she is gone is a blessing.
I just pray the next one is a fantastic neighbour.0

There's often a lag between an eviction order being granted and the actual eviction. Especially if children are involved ...TotallyBroke wrote: »Well a turn of events...

I'm not sure how long ago she was served the eviction but the house was supposed to have been empty on Friday 25th June. Apparantly the house is privately owned and rented to the Housing Assoc, owner of the house has been trying to evict her for a year but HA have not moved her.
She moved mattresses etc into a van on Saturday just gone and I have not seen the children since so I guess they are at the new home, I have only seen her in the house and walking the street with step ladder and shopping trolley.0

IS it only me or does anyone else feel really sorry for the kids? Don't get me wrong my heart goes out to you OP, but what about those poor children wouldn't they be better living with someone else?0

I totally agree with you patchwork cat but I'm not sure what can be done.
SS obviously think that trying to help them as a family is better for the children than have them live with strangers or I am sure they would have removed them. They were on the at risk register but I'm not sure if they still are (I only know this because she told me and I have heard her shouting things at the Police when they have been called by the children... )
Their life is so much better now that their parents have split up, there were terrible arguements and physical violence before then. Almost a fight a night before then, now it's an odd fight between drunk Mum and hormone induced teenage children.
I'm not sure where Dad is to know if he could have them and I think if they were away from Mum they would just worry that she would be drinking all the time.0
