Dont get anything novelty, I hate that! I like prezzes I can either use or a book... or book tokens. Probably not in the spirit of money saving though.

My partner is a tea addict and I hate it...he has been trying to make me drink it for 2 years.

This year for his birthday I put on a surprise a tea party, got a tea trolley, big teapot, special cakes and afternoon tea the full works. I drank a whole pot of tea and he was so delighted. The weirdest things make people happy (!)
