If you have access to a printer you can make them on http://www.fun-vouchers.org.uk/. I used these for a birthday present last year and they went down well."grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to change the one I can and the wisdom to know it's me"

thanks Secret Lady. I saw it on a web site and thought it was very true. Think it is from some 12 step programme so cannot take credit!"grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to change the one I can and the wisdom to know it's me"

Similar idea to the vouchers, an empty jam/marmalade/pickle jar, in fact any (empty)glass jar will do; if it's an unusual shape it looks even nicer.
Write down a promise for each week(52) or month (12) on paper, then cut them out and fold them up, pop into the jar and mix with confetti or similar; just to bulk it out, tie a ribbon around the top of the jar, pop on a label and hey presto a thoughtful pressie that cost nothing.
The promises can be written on different colours of paper, colour coded e.g. white paper household promises, blue paper "loving/sexy"promises etc.
Then you just pick out one paper every week or month depending on how many you put in there.
Give this idea some thought and you'll be amazed at what you come up with.
Hope you both have a good day.Grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to change the one I can and the wisdom to know it's me"0 -
