    This is a helpful forum, and a very good one, but when someone tries to blame the other for there mistake, rather than ask for advice to get them out of there mistake, it warrants the correct response....
    case closed.

    According to Trading Standards that's not the case, he was mis-sold insurance. Case definately open.

    yeah he/she was! :) i totally agree there, but mis-sold via Budget, not the broker! :):) and if they have a TS at the location he/she got the car, defo a case for it, totally agree with u :)
    if u can prove being mis-lead :)

    So why do TS say I can claim against ECH and Tescos Credit?

    Lastest on carhire insurance mis-selling. I recieved a letter from Tescos Credit Card yesterday offering a refund of £27 and stating that they had investigated my claim and agreed I was mis-sold insurance.
