If you need to ring Orange for any reason if you have an Orange mobile it's free if you dial 150 from your mobile! Don't ring their 0870 numbers for them to keep you on the phone for 20minutes at a time.0

Not quite true. Orange contract mobiles are usually free but not all i.e. OVP plans. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
Hi, I plan on writing a long vent about Orange but the upshot is my contract with them ended on 9th May and I didn't get a new provider until 15th June - all due to Orange dragging their heels, and blatently lying to me. I must have spent a fortune on calls - one evening I was on the phone for over two hours to various people - and I had LLU as well. BT were brilliantly helpful.
Word of advice - make sure you take notes on every call, get everyone's name and be prepared for a looooong haul. Eventually I complained to Ofcom.0 -
Most ISPs will take an LLU MAC. The process is entirely automated now and it's not a problem to process these codes.
Don't let an LLU ISP tell you otherwise. We get loads of LLU MACs daily and have been able to process them without any problems.
All major ISPs should be able to do this - in addition to us smaller guys:
