Guccigo - Congratulations on the new job:T
I think I must be very odd because I LOVE the taste of UHT semi-skimmed milk on cereal -so long as it is really cold! I don't like it in coffee or tea though. I always always buy Cravendale milk now because it lasts for so long and it is usually on offer somewhere. In fact, if I ever do buy ordinary milk I can really taste the difference!
I had a hospital appointment today and was told that my operation is now likely to be in mid August. On the way home I was driving past Asda and felt really sorry for myself and so went in and bought some bakery cookies and a packet of Doritos and ate them all on the way home:o I also bought some bread and frozen veg (so they wouldn't think I was just a big pig!) and some Chicken on offer - total spend £13.

Not posted much lately, don't know where the time goes
.
Had a nice hour or so on Saturday at a local strawberry farm and went a bit mad picking about 2 kilos as well as a kilo of rasps and some gooseberries......great fun.
We are not great jam fans so have frozen almost all of the fruit for a later date, for summer puddings and the like which we are fond of.
Spent £35.33 in Mr M as needed some meat to do batch cooking as freezer supplies getting low. As it bucketed down all day Sunday, got all the cooking done and felt quite virtuous
Will have to catch up on everyone's news now.0 -
Went to Aldi for some of their cheap, but award-winning, face cream today, unfortunately they didn't have any in stock, so had to get a different one as I was out of it, but while I was there I spent another £6.11 on groceries! Not planning on going to the shops any more until at least the weekend, although may have to get DP to pick up some milk at some point.
Just realised the cream I bought is the same one with a new name!Weight loss challenge 2/10lbs

Previous 2 days have been NSDs which is highly unusual for me, I couldn't find one thing i actually needed to buy as cupboards and freezer are fully stocked. Meal plan up on fridge door telling me got dinners sorted til middle of next week. Did buy the Sun today for the £5 off voucher at Mr M for next week.

KIRSTY - hope the wrist heals well.
GUCCIGOO - Well done and congratulations.
Total spend today was £7.73 on eggs, ice-cream, crusty bread, kiwi fruits, bananas, new pots and BOGOF celery.
Made some celery soup and we had this for tea followed by meat balls and rice. Was going to do pasta but then found some boil in the bag rice  which has been in for ages so added some onions, garlic, mushrooms, celery and sweet corn to it and used that instead.
Determined to make tomorrow a NSD as havent had to many of them yet this month.MARCH £62.38/2500 -

Oh don't know what happened to the rest of my message but it's disappeared! I was trying to say thankyou cw18 and want2Bdebt free for the explanations on the scanner. I have never noticed anyone in my local Mr Ts using one but I will enquire next time I am there. Mind you this may be a while seeing as they are not accepting the Morrisons voucher from The Sun which is rather annoying seeing as I saw a copy of a letter from their H/O dated only a few weeks ago confirming that Morrisons is one of the competitors that they will accept vouchers from.Grocery aim £450pm.Spent £519 August, £584 July, £544 June, £541 May, £549 April, £517 March, £517 Feb,£555 Jan, £573 Dec, £465Nov, £561Oct, £493Sept, £426Aug,£496 Jul, £528Jun, £506May,£498April, £558 March, £500Feb, £500 Jan, £490 Dec, £555 Nov,£566 Oct, £505Sept, £450Aug, £410 July, £437 June, £491 May, £471 April, £440 March, £552Feb, £462Jan0

Evening, everyone. I just popped on to check OS and to post my total spends for today. I wasn't going to go to Mr M's at lunch, but I really needed to get out of the office for a bit. It was a good job I did, because I got a cracking bargain
A whole haslet, sliced, for £1.19
That has been divided up into smaller packs of 4 or 5 slices and put into the freezer for sandwich meat. Happy me! I also bought a 4 pack of loo roll (as it was on offer at Mr Ms and I had a voucher for 50p too), a pack of 6 ridge-cut crisps (RTC to 49p
) and a few other bits and pieces for lunches. So, I've a total of £6.57 to add to my tally so far.
I'll update my sig now.
