  • Is that all there is to it?

Yep thats it :) Make sure you dont let the pan boil dry and leave it for a few hours, just remember to be really careful when opening the can! Will be very hot.

Personally, i think this version tastes alot nicer than the already caramel flavoured one. Worth trying both though. Cant put my finger on why this tastes better! x

Just thought I'd share this site with you all. It's actually really good for children too (worth a browse through - loads of activities!) especially on the build up to Christmas to keep them occupied, but wanted to share this page specifically with links to MASSES of recipes! Granted, there's quite a lot with american measurements, but we can cope! Just happened to come across random receipes for making your own edible christmas wreath - cornflakes or rice krispies mixed with melted coloured green marshmallows, dotted with something red (was thinking of the red m&ms again personally!!). Mad. Brilliant, but mad!

Thanks for the link Clare, there are some great recipes on there! I spotted this one for 2 minute fudge - http://www.northpole.com/kitchen/cookbook/rec0741.asp

Has anyone tried it? I'd love to believe making fudge was that easy :D

I just wanted to add that I picked up a small book from The Works the other day, called 'Muffins & Bakes'. It was only £1.99, but 208 pages and is an amazing book full of muffins, cakes and biscuits.

Looking forward to trying the 'Refrigerator cake' - very much like Rocky Road and 'Mincemeat Crumble Bars' - a great mince pie alternative for Christmas.

I'll add a pic of the book later... is just a generic book by Parragon, small sized, hardback. Highly recommended!

    Thanks

They are just normal 5 inch cellaphane bags which I stamped with white Merry Christmas.
