Nice colour for a front door???

After making numerous decorating decisions on our new home I'm stumped on choosing a colour for our front door. it's currently varnished a mahogany colour but I'd like to paint it something more modern. I quite like some of the Farrow & Ball colours. Has anyone used this paint? Is it worth the extra cost? Any advice…

Ended up with Mellow Sage from Crown Solo paint. Very easy to apply, great coverage and I'm really happy with the result.
