It seems like so long ago, but then just like yesterday.
And I know I am going to cry

Skint, desperate, relying on the internet for friends and contact with the outside world.
I wonder what I was like a year ago though?

Mike, I'm so happy that your house is sorted and that your program is finally on tonight. Alas, I have an elsewhere to be, but I am Sky+ing it, and I will watch it when I get home.
Keep the champange cold until the virtual party starts, and then enjoy! xxxPlease call me 'Pickle'

You were a desperate s.o.b but you touched our stony hearts and melted them. What you did not know a year ago was the roll on effect that would happen when we all bonded together to help you and in doing so have helped us face up to our own trials and tribulations and deal with them. The end result is some wonderful friendships that have emerged. Icing on the cake I think.:rotfl::T:j:beer:
Mulled wine I think tonight, still got some smoked salmon and ham, think its party picnic time. Might roll some salami around a gerkin or two. Lots of pickled onions. Yummy. janet:cool:Mike's Mob

Might be having a small tincture now - medicinal of course..?
A bunch of neighbours apparently is having a DIY SOS party up the road and we've been asked along for soup and drinks and to watch it with them. We'll say How Do but I think we should be here at home to watch it together.
Left it a bit late to ask!
Bless them.
As well as the 8 million viewers, there are friends and families of everyone involved in the production, and the music and all that. Big array of people. And they're all going to get excited and watch it at the same time! What a strange world!
