Not asking anyone to commit, just an idea so I can check.... ;)

Maty, racing greens was fully booked for the weekend I picked and they can sleep up to 10.

Good news!!!! My landlord is replacing ALL the windows in the flats, with new double glazing that has the vents in the top, and he is getting sensor extractor fans (so we don't have to turn them on and off) installed in the bathroom and kitchen. He was surprised I think at how bad it was... and he has agreed to let us do pretty much whatever we want, just to email him first to check. So, the disgusting mouldy blind in my bedroom has gone straight in the bin as I can't imagine that was helping my cold/cough very much at all!! Once the windows are in, the lovely curtains donated by the fab SB will be going up too. Just really really hope it improvesit and my flatmate wants to stay... that is my next concern.

He claims to have a date set for new windows by the end of the week so heres hoping!!!

That's all very good news. Maybe the letting agency was a bit crap? I've heard odd things about them and how they don't pass messages on... Here's to a warm, dry Christmas.

Nobody ever makes ME curtains... I've been out looking at voile stuff this afternoon. I'm SUCH a bloke.

Got bitten on the forehead by some bug and have a lump the size of a small egg!! But a very constructive day - didn't sit down until after 7 tonight - knackered... and work tomorrow oh joy - oh and won a tenner on the lottery....

    Think I need commiting :rotfl:

There are other places we can try or other weekends :)

That really is great news, :j:T:j:T You will be warm, dry and toasty very soon :)

Really hope your flatmate is happy to stay once it is sorted but I reckon you could find another one fairly easy if you have to (Flatmate not flat)

Hope the egg is better this morning and that you are not aching too much from all that hard work  I am sure it was a job well done though :)

    Is there a difference?

I admit it. I haven't a clue what I'm doing. They had some nice red netting stuff. Want sort of 'curtains' I can draw back in the living room on a pole.

And they had some black netting which would be good for keeping the sun out of the wotsit, maybe double layer. Not a prob until next summer really.

Setting up my telly projector. Much more my thing. Each to their own I suppose.

The trellis between my garden and next door blew down last week and I've been waiting for him to fix it, as he put it up. But it occurred to me he might be waiting for me to as it's my wall...

Cat and mouse time. Let's see who cracks first.
