I think Mike's brain has just fizzled out with all the nerves going off at once with the realisation that his house is almost definitely the Christmas special!! I'm working night of 23rd Dec (fingers crossed it's a standby) but I'll be sure to record it and watch it Christmas Morning!!

Hi Billie yes that thread name sounds like a good idea it will of course catch the attention of others is mikes definatley the 23rd ? or will it be one of the ones broadcast in december on the run up to xmas ?? What I posted yesterday is all I have at present but it seems reliable. I will wait until I get official word before telling people, as un-telling them isn't as easy.

Also, it's weeks away and people will forget. I'd suggest the thread is a great idea, but if SB can master cutting and pasting, it would be great to tell some of the lost souls as well in case they aren't still subscribed.

I am toying with the idea of messaging all those 109 peeps who kindly blitzed the producer's e-mail address. I doubt they'd mind me doing so once.

Maybe 10 days before would be about optimum notice?

Spoke to Beth this morning and she was going to confirm yesterday but has heard overnight there's some question about dates. BBC schedulers deciding what to put it up against. There's a big Corrie special and they don't want to get lost competing with that.

Could be sooner than we think, but we'll need to wait until it's absolutely confirmed. Normally rumours are true once they get to a high level, but it seems it's the high season for the schedulers.

Never mind! Still going to happen!
