I LOVE birthdays, and can't begin to describe my disappointment when people don't remember mine.

    No names of course.

And nobody involved in aviation. Ooooo no.

(I see I share it with Kak!, apparently a Brazilian footballer. - 1982 – Kak!, Brazilian footballer. Pretty name, loving the exclamation mark).

Maybe I should call myself something like that? Any suggestions?

I have some jeans needing to be turned up, since you're offering.

No urgency. They've been on the back of the sofa almost a year. My next plan was my office stapler.

I better practise hemming denim then... do you mind wonky lines and visible hems?

Although wonderweb does work rather well.

You can't use wonderweb on jeans!! Hello ..............:)
Jeans are easy to take up and you can hand sew and then no stitches show. So Psycho can do the curtains with her new sewing machine whilst we sit on the deck with the glasses. Haven't been on for ages, busy being busy!! Had another holiday (sorry) this time with all the family - 8 of us in all and had a ball, although weather not brilliant - went to Tenerife over Easter and so expected 24/7 sunshine, but ...... Anyway, pleased to see that some of the 'old' posters still on here, and want you to know that I haven't forgotten you, just haven't had the chance to get on here, but don't know why. So I will try and keep up with all the gos'. By the way there was a line a few posts back asking if Mike had gotten married? Have I missed something?!?!? Will try and keep in touch and lots of love, hugs and kisses to those that know me. Billie x x

Hello MissTamin :) Hope you are doing well.

Hi everyone else.... I like bright colours too!

Can't sleep.... getting annoyed now. Even tempted to do the washing up for something to do at 1am!

If it gets to 4am and you're doing the ironing worry LOL

As for me....life was just getting better :)...famous last words. After buying the new bike about 3 days in my knee pops out (dislocates)...so like that's that...a day later (sabbath) I decide to pop to a+e as I can't use bathroom. It was mobbed!!!!.. Head plays up but I cope. Then the next day...splint falls off about 3 times in a meeting. Back to a+E on Tuesday. Got it fixed (no tights mike for 2 weeks :rotfl: but no baths or showers either ;) then later than day I lose the squidgy bit and have too much caffeine. Bed @ 4am up at 8am....bad day.....No squidgy bit and no splint. In the middle of all this I decide to buy a 'new' tv..bad MSEer LOL. I just figure if I'm going to be near enough housebound for 2 weeks I might as well have a magic lantern. No allotment - nothing. no cycling. :(...sanity out the window

It's returned but folk on another thread are now slandering me :(....don't know why I seem to get scapegoated so much on MSE. but still...not the first time I've been blamed for putting the QB's nose out of joint on x,y, z thread even though most of the time I just put my foot in it once then it snowballs. (not from me from other's ) and cos I originally came up with x concept/phenomena I get the blame....lovely.

Anyhow since when have hormones been such a huge issue on a no smokes thread :rotfl: I'm not even hormonal and like haven't been online for 2 days due to not being well. Come back to sheer and itter slander :(

OMG things sound very hard for you at the moment. You have our support and good wishes. You're not attracting bad stuff, it's just happening as it always does, but you're taking it as an attack on you. It's probably not. Move from the PC to your new TV and enjoy it. You've earned it. Jubilee and Olympics (shudder) should make it worth having. Hoping your ability to wear tights returns. (Maybe I misread that bit)!

New bike? Motorised? What happened to the last one? How do you manage a bike with a blown knee? I dropped a scooter during my CBT. Haven't lived that down yet.

What's a squidgy bit? Where did you lose it? Can you get spares? Am I being incredible naive?

Forums (except this one) are not good places if you're feeling anything less than 100 percent strong and good about yourself. Maybe keep out of the flak for the time being?

For what it's worth, we hang on to your every word and love hearing from you!

I think we have established the strategy; so how do I measure where to turn up? When I bend down, it changes
