My driver will pick you up in about an hour.

Is there nothing you're not good at?

Lots and lots of things. I never said I was any good at being a pa, it would just keep me busy :) Although Mr S does say that I am one of the most organised people he knows. He would struggle to organise a p!ss up in a brewery though and that's saying something when he works in the alcohol industry :rotfl:

  • I've been in touch with one, but they have been useless pretty much. Another 2 emailed me after I applied for jobs through Reed but turned me down straight away, apparently they had other clients with better suited skills. How much skill do you need for filing?

A reunion sounds great. Can you organise for a time I definitely won't be busy?! I have no idea when that will be though, being in limbo with work at the moment :D I know, how about next week? I won't have a job by then!

Google 'cheap dressmaking fabrics UK' - either voile or polycotton should be fine depending how thick you want it....

and espresso machine if you don't want to sleep? LOL

Sleep for wimps? Naw....sleep for OAP's...so that's me out ;) but maybe some of MM in :D

Actually just forget about what I said about the voile...that'll let light in....

Can't you just buy a king sized duvet cover cheap somewhere and cut up and hem? That's what I would do :money:

    Or polycotton....

Oooh! You'll know! Sun and conservatories and computers don't mix. I know this to be true. I need some lengths of fabric of some sort to hang between short lengths of broom handle (this is a simplified explanation of course...) The fabric should be dark to reduce glare, but doesn't have to be blackout as I only want to cover five areas of the roof and side windows through which the sun hits my desk.

The only fabric shop between here and who knows where shut down recently (just typical!) so I looked online and found it All Very Confusing...

Any suggestions please? Offers to procure, hem, edge, and all that girly stuff also welcome.

What happened to your big tenty thing? Oh, I see, it doesn't reduce glare. I've made two cushion covers today if that is any use? :)

Oh Psy... you said you'd never tell anyone about my big tenty thing.

(Actually, !!!!!! are you talking about?

And two cushion covers would be............ practically useless!

I'm going for the cheap duvet cover thing.
