Yes, it will save you masses of time and stress! We got the pouring rain too, on a shorter journey. It wasn't good.

Heading north of the border next week for a fortnight with dad, including a few days in Orkney with friends and family...I can't wait!! :j

Flying up to Inverness, with dad collecting me there and driving us home. Much better than taking a bus (or two) from the airport (another 130 miles:eek:), though I do quite like the trip, if it's not too bad weather. Driving door-to-door from here takes 12 hours, and over a tank and a half of diesel (and that's without hold-ups), so pleased I'm not doing that this time! Crazy as it sounds, it's much cheaper to fly too....and so much faster...Br to Inv in 1.5 hours!!! :T

Hope you have managed to spring-clean the Dolls House Mike, and that she is looking all spick and span now, ready for the next invasion by your boys :D

We had sun on Monday and I went down the allotment - then had second lot of nightmares in 2 nights. Just up avoiding JC on the Christian Channel (he's a theological eejit and I should know. Takes the odd word out of the bible literally and then out of context!!!. :mad: and he's on national radio :eek: Those sort of folk need to meet some of you guys.....:A)

And now when feeling rotten, tired and grumpy M on the NST says 'be good when you give up e-cigs' - I'm like - talk about a back hander. Say on the one hand you're glad x has quit the cigs then back hand....Miaow!!!! Who needs enemies?

So yeah....LOL re secret millionaire Mike but money don't buy happiness. You of all folks should know that ...but like emails are better than the razor blade...
