Getting money back from cowboy builders

Hi Gang. Just to let you know I am still lurking in the background. I'll be there on Thursday to watch it all over again. Its amazing how it is all still so fresh in our minds. I can re-live every moment of every day. What is really lovely is that we are all still communicating with each other. We are all so different in ages, characters, occupations and strung all over the country, but that is irrelavent, we are mates and will remain so. I think about you all most days (got a large photo in the sitting room!!):j

I will get the pringles, cream cheese and dates, and of course something cold and sparkling to toast Mike, his lads and everyone of you all over again. Ain't life fun.:beer:
PS - Butti - wish I had some Jopen beer!!

Hi Maty, it was late I know. Fell asleep in the chair watching the box. Glad it was a Saturday night!! Trouble is I then don't feel sleepy so I decided to have a peek at my emails and facebook and one thing led to another.......:rotfl:

Glad it did, didn't realise the thread was active again. Discovered on Facebook that Butti and I were both in Amsterdam/Haarlem in March at the same time. We have both discovered a wonderful brewery that has a pub within and all housed in an old church. Best Beer in the world bar none - and that is from a non beer drinker. If anyone wants the name and address just shout.

Keep forgetting to ask if there were any photos knocking around from July 30th's knees up? Would love a peek.

Rodders is adorable! And reasonably well behaved

I only took a few photo's and have added them to FB.

I am still trying to work out where to put the photo's.

I think if you get yourself to Haarlem you just need to be able to say brewery and church, and someone will point you in the right direction.

:beer: Jopen Kerk should do the trick. Will be supping again at New Year. Brother in Law tracked down suppliers in Amsterdam but bottled is not as good as the tap.

If you have photos of the picnic I guess Facebook is easiest.:D

Oh Yes, going to bed now. Got a busy week. Mum is 99 this weekend and I have to get a mini party organised in the home.
Hope she is awake for it.
