If you run out of local roundabouts on the A27 - there's always Chichester - I think there're 11! (Not sure if any of them have flowers that you would choose to "relocate" though :))

    I prefer the term 'liberate'...

Hope you feel better soon psycho...ooerrr and earlies too...hope you come through the weekend OK. :o

Mike, you could get yourself some packets of seed and sow your own flowers, or find some plug-plants (smaller and cheaper than bigger ones later) that you can pot up and grown on. You could have them in your conservatory for a bit until the weather warms up properly.

I have tomato and peppers starting to take over my conservatory...which is also our dining room (and computer romm...and craft room!!!)...we will soon have to eat in the sitting room when the dining table disappears under numerous pots!).

Have a great weekend everyone...looks like we still might have a nice (if slightly chilly!) one. I am having to water the plants in pots outside daily atm as we haven't have any decent rain for ages. I must sort out my watering system...it blew a few joints with all the low temps in December, so need to check it all.

Thanks for the suggestion, Keiss. I think last year someone said not to put plants out until May or June? I suppose seeds is cheapest (after roundabouts, natch).

is it just me going mad or are the weeks flying past us?

Is that what they call a sign of old age?

happy monday, and happy rest- of- the- week! :o

Seems like there's only 6 months to every year. A sure sign of getting older.

True about planting the plants out, but you could get the seeds started now or soon...keep them in your conservatory for a month or so, putting them out on warm days if they are starting to get a bit leggy. It slows down their growth a bit and starts to harden them off.

Which way does your conservatory face? North and east-facing are good for growing plants on...it doesn't get too hot for them then.

Just watched Scotland beat Ireland @ rugby :j:j...only two more matches to go today :D Being a Scot, I think (no, I'm sure!!) I want Ireland to beat England....not sure about the France-Wales match...just hope for a good game. You can tell we like our rugby in this house!!!

Have a good weekend all....still a bit chilly out of the sun though.
