If we'd have timed it right (i.e. this year) we could have got Phil's redundant bathroom for Mike's house. Would have made up for our inability to source tartan paint!!!

:TThanks Maty. Yes she is so lucky. She has been in there for 5 years now. Many of the residents live way past the 100. One recently died age 108 on her birthday as her son was flying home back to New Zealand. It was a rare visit as he is in his 80's. Such a shame. Mum is a tough old bird and I guess would have lived till she died in her sleep but she has advanced breast cancer that appears to be taking over now and you can see the change in her. She is now more or less confined to bed and has pain patches for comfort. It is just wait and see.
My Mother had a brother who died during the D-Day landings leaving a son of 8 months. His widow remarried and Mum lost touch with them. 3 years ago i started looking for the son going down the geneology root on the Internet (Ancestry) and I found him last March. Great reunion as he had been looking for his late father's family too. He is now 67 and an ex Scotland Yard Murder Squad copper. He has visited Mum many times in the last year and her joy at seeing him is always emotional. That was a job well done as she has grieved for her lost brother and nephew her whole life.:j
Oh I do go on.....

There was a link put up in one of the posts. Hopefully someone will remember which one. I think it was put up by one of the electricians. I have it on my memory stick if you're anywhere near the NE!

Janet - How wonderful to find your cousin, I can't imagine how sad it must have been for your Mum to lose herb brother and contact with her nephew so she must have been so thrilled. It would also have filled in so many gaps for him too. A wonderful story
Where are SB and Killerwatt when you need them  SB would know the post number for the download or Killerwatt would be able to repeat the link.
Catlou, go back a few pages to around new year and look for posts by Killerwatt. He posted a download link:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
