Just downloaded Killerwatt's version (Post 1308) on to a 4GB memory stick and it's worked fine. Took about 7 minutes to download

I'm guessing you are stuck with a 10Mbit connection if it took you that long to download the compressed (aka, crap quality) version. :rotfl:

If any of you want the uncompressed (full DVD) version, let me know and I'll sort it as a download.
Please note that the full DVD version is just shy of 4GB, so those on a so called "unlimited" connection may want to examine the small print in their T&C's before commencing the download.

What about those of us who are so illiterate when it comes to downloads that they couldn't get it to work?

Windows media player keeps saying it can't play it and the online help thingybob is telling my to check the sound card. But there can't be anything wrong with that as I been watching stuff on iplayer.

Should I try burning it to DVD anyhoo and see what happens?

If you are left clicking on the link then that piece of crap known as WMP will want to download the movie to a temporary folder before it plays it, and that can be a killer if you have a slow connection.

Right click on my link, select "Save Target As" from the context menu, save it to your hard drive (all 460MB of it), then play it.

The link is a zip file isn't it? The one I just grabbed is?

Need to DL, uncompress, and then play with a compatible media player.

    VLC works. :)

    Good point, well presented.
With all the crap I'm dealing with at the moment I'd forgotten I'd zipped it up, especially as the DVD version is on that server as well in ISO format.

    @ Nicca,

You need to unzip the file before you can play it.

I did wonder. It only saved about 3 MB out of 460 ish, so seemed odd?
