I've just caught up on the DIY SOS episode Mike, and I just wanted to say it was a lovely episode. They did a fantastic job with your house, and I hope you and the boys are very happy there.

You really deserved it, and I hope the builder will get his comeuppance soon!

I know it was very hard work and long days but it was fun too wasn't it!?!
It was a good crack, especially the last night when we went back to the hotel with the crew and they bought us drinks all night long

Killerwatt.. It was lovely to see you had posted. You did a fab job at Mikes and I know you worked long and hard to pull it all together...well done on showing Billy how the pros carry the right tools.
That was quite amusing, and proof that tools aimed at the DIY'er just don't quite cut the mustard when they have to do any real work.

Watching the film again and again reminded me of many amusing things that happened on site. When the girls were asked to go into the house to erect flat pack beds etc they were forced to wear Hobnailed Boots,
Christine pulled me on day 2 about my trainers, I still ended up keeping them for the duration ;)

Did you go to sleep at all?

Indeed. And I intend to do more this afternoon.

    Hungover? Insomnia? Narcolepsy?

    There's a nap for that.

Mike... I suggest you find a very good hiding spot. Although I shall be kept busy for a bit as MrS is back tomorrow!!

We have just been thoroughly cleaning the flat.... it was absolutely disgusting.... mould had crept into places we didn't know existed. Yuk.

    PS I'm always watching.

More photos. (There's quite a few!) They are in a completely random order though! Sorry! :o

I don't have the patience to be pedantic about these things.

    Or the technical knowledge!

    Brill piccies Niccatw!

Mike you have been marvellous in answering us all individually...but then I should have expected nothing less!! :T:T:T

I would love to make a trip to see you...but don't want you to be overwhelmed by a never-ending stream of visitors....so perhaps a party on the beach for all of us would be best. I do miss the sea...grew up at the other end of the country though...just south of John O'Groats...we have fantastic beaches there too!!! Now living far too far from the coast..one day we will move closer!

Have a wonderful 2011. Hopefully you will at last get somewhere with getting some recompense from the builder (or court).
